I have another doubt too. University website says "Attach the (non attested) photostat copies of the following documents,

@@lakshmimenon6400 No need for self attestation. Only copies of marklists or degree certificates are enough. If it is for WES, only marklists copies are enough. For purpose other than WES, please check with the respective institution if they need copy of degree certificate also. Hope I have clarified your query.

You don't need to approach the college as WES doesn't accept anything from the colleges, go to the university and visit the section which is in charge of Unity college. They must guide you

As per University, you can apply either with mark lists or consolidated grade card. For the latter option, first apply for a consolidated grade card from the University. Then with the consolidated grade card, you can apply for an official transcript in which you don't need to attach all year/semester wise mark lists. The advantage is that you can save money, however, the whole process will take more time than the usual (while directly applying with mark-lists). The choice is yours.

Number of official transcript depends on where you would like to send. e.g. if it is only WES, only 1 transcript is required. Transcript is prepared by University based on the documents you send to them. Hope I have clarified your query.

As of now, there is no update from University not to pay the postage fees though it is submitted electronically. However, I am trying to contact University for any further updates and will inform you if get any info.

They need official transcript from University. You have to provide all the documents as mentioned in this video. In WES account, you can attach the copy of the final degree certificate and rest has to be send by University( online or hard copy). Nowadays, Calicut university is sending the transcript online to WES.

You can get the shipment details from university. Request your department, they will provide the details with which you can track.

I hope you want to send it electronically to WES. Please contact your University department and request them, they have all the required details. Please note the below statement from WES website.
"Please contact the university to send your documents electronically to WES. WES has an established relationship with University of Calicut and has provided the university officials with instructions."
For Wes can i mail copy of provisional degree certificate instead of degree certificate along with other documents (marksheets) to the Calicut university. Will they accept it?
if you haven't received the final degree certificate, you can attach provisional certificate which is accepted by WES for ECA.

Sorry, the query is not clear. Make sure you provide all your marklists including improvement. If there is no mark improvement, same can be excluded. The total aggregate marks in the final should match while adding the marks from each marklist.
@@Linob123 thanks for your quick response… So let me add few more details here. I had written an improvement examination in the 2nd year. For that I received a mark list. The same paper was re-evaluated and I received one more mark list with changes. So do I need to attach both the mark lists before and after changes or the final improvement mark list is sufficient.
@@SuperPnani if your latest improvement mark list is having changes(more marks) than the previous, then you can exclude the previous one. Make sure that the cumulative of all the mark lists should match with the final one. Hope I have clarified your query.

I believe you are referring to backside of final certificate. That's o.k . You can upload both sides of final certficate in WES account if you are applying ECA through WES.

For getting transcript for my degree certificate. I should send copies of final marklist and original certificate only. Right ? And payment 1655*2 right?
I believe the final marklist you are referring here is the consolidated grade card which shows subject wise marks for each semester/year. If yes, Rs.1655 X 2 is correct for consolidated grade card & final degree certificate.
In case if you are applying with semester wise/yearwise marklists, then the payment is no. of marklists X Rs.1655. This is definitely expensive as you pay for each marklist which includes supplementary and improvement(e.g. if you have 10 marklists in total, then the payment is Rs. 16,550).
Hi, For getting the transcript for both degree and BEd from calicut university do I need to pay postal charge twice. And Should I need to take transcript for both mark list and original. It's for Express entry
1) Both are separate departments. So while applying, you have to pay postal charges for both.
2) The query is not clear, however for express entry, submit the marklists copies including supplementary and improvement for issuing the official transcript. If the ECA is through WES, you can upload final certificate in the WES account directly. Only marklists needs to be provided along with other mentioned docs as explained in the video. But I will also advise you to provide copy of final certificate along with mentioned docs to University in order to avoid any further verification from WES.

Yes, you can. The official transcript will be sent in a sealed envelope to your address.
I see that WES accepts documents electronically from Calicut University, in that case we dont have to add up the postal charge right ?
Though they are accepting electronically, postage is to be paid. In some cases, it happened that WES wait for the hard copy to arrive to approve it. Hence, it's recommended to pay the postal.charges.

Not mandatory. If you need a personal copy, you can request otherwise not required.Normally students request personal copies if they are intending to study in some countries such as UK where they don't have WES, and the student directly sends the transcript to University.
I do have a doubt regarding the fee payment, I have done B.com degree which is 6 semesters in total, so do I have to pay 1655*6 + other fee or do I just need to pay 1655 + other fee.
The amount they mentioned is for each document. No. of marklists×1655 + search fee+postal charges.If you want to provide your Degree certificate also, then additional Rs.1655.
PS: No. of mark lists include all the semester mark lists including supplementary and improvement. Hope it's clear.

Calicut University haven't started online application till date as per my understanding. Once your transcript is ready, University can help you by uploading official transcript online to WES if you make a request. The transcript will be submitted by postal to WES as usual by University. The online submission by University to WES will make the process faster if you are lucky. In some cases, I heard WES wait for the hard copies to arrive to approve. Hope I clarified your query.

Well, in your case, the degree awarded is Bachelor of Science. Select the same in WES website.

I understand that your statement of marks was already sent by University in digital form. In some cases, WES may wait for the hard copy to arrive. I hope transcript hard copy is already dispatched by University to WES. However, you can raise a query in WES contact form to make sure that they have received the doc. digitally. Also request to consider the same and inform them that there is a delay in delivery by postal due to ongoing covid situation. Hope they should consider your case as University had directly sent digitally to WES.

Hello ... i have submitted the application and its been 3 weeks. Multiple mails and calls no help. How long do they take to process?
normally, it takes atleast 1 month for them to prepare the transcript. Try to get the contact no. of your department, connect with them directly rather than calling the enquiry. continuously follow up with them.
@@Linob123 this is the worst place to request anything, no response on any of the contact numbers provided on their sites nor do they respond to emails. They charge so exhorbitantly and treat it as complimentary service.
They don't pick any phone calls at any time of the day.

Please request the concerned department to provide the email id. Once you get the email id from them, send them an official email requesting to submit it online apart from the hard copy. Hope I have clarified your query.

I was also wondering if WES only needs the final year mark list for evaluation. I need some guidance on the university online portal like even if I pay the fees and submit them for verification, will the Calicut university send the verified documents electronically to WES, or do we have to request the university to send them to WES electronically? Or is it better to go in person to the university and submit the application by following the video instructions?
@@anjujento8703 Hi Anju, i think if you do online request verification using DocsWallet you can share the same electronically to WES paying additional $75 once approved by university. I don't have an option to visit university at the moment, that's the reason for trying online. In WES portal they says marksheets. Not sure they need subject wise in each sem or not. In my final mark list totals of each sem is specified.

I've prepared the docs for applying transcript by watching your video. However i've a doubt at some places which I reqeust you kindly clarify.
1. I'm based in UAE, Can I keep my UAE number in the official Transcript Application for any communication? Or is it to be an Indian Number.
2. Do I need to apply for the trascript for my spouse as well in order to initiate the immigration purpose for Canada? And can that be done together if required? This will allow me to pay the chalan accordingly.
3. Do I need to apply for a Personal Copy of Transcript by paying or will the University send the same through email?
1. Write an additional letter mentioning all these details including your current location. Provide your e-mail id, in case of any questions, they will contact via e-mail. You can provide any Indian contact whom you think can attend the call on your behalf. Most of the cases, this is not required though. As I mentioned, call your department in Calicut University as a follow up whenever required.
2. It all depends on the CRS score you require, as doing ECA for spouse will give you additional points. Otherwise you will lose points. You can check the IRCC CRS calculator to understand your requirement.

3. They will send to the location(say WES Canada) as per your instruction and postage fees. You need to pay additional fees if a personal copy is required. You must attach one extra set of photostat copy of all the documents for the same.

"No, each applicant must create their own account and pay a separate fee accordingly. However, spouses can send all their individually sealed documents, in the format stated on WES website, in one large envelope as long as each individual envelope has the correct reference number written on it."

No extra fees. They will send the transcript electronically upon your request.Make sure you pay the postage fees.
If we need 1 copy for us wer to give the address
You can mention as "Yes" in the application form and also mention no. of copies required. Write a letter clearly mentioning all your requirements, and add your personal address in the same. Ensure that you attach an extra set of all documents(photocopy) for personal transcript copy requirement and make sure you pay the additional postage fee for the same.
If I have statement of marks for all the semesters , I can pay the fee for only one
Do you have consolidated marklist or semesterwise separate marklist? If it's semester wise marklist, then you have to pay Rs.1655 per marklist. If its consolidated marklist then Rs. 1655 only. Search fee and postage fee needs to be added to the above. Hope I clarified your query.

But it shows the total marks for the particular semester with out showing the subject wise

For genuineness verification, the amount is RS 1655 and for official transcript it is RS 4410. It is given in the suvega website that the genuiness verification is required for WES. Now I am really confused. Which one should i opt? Kindly clear this out.

Original certificates are strictly NOT required to be sent to WES. University will send the official transcripts to WES. And additionally, you have to only upload the clear copy of the degree certificate in your WES account. And only the highest degree is required for WES evaluation.
