Star Wars Battlefront II Mods (PC) HD: Tatooine at War | Galactic Civil War II: The Force Awakens

- WATCH IN HD! So we're doing this again, just played a few rounds of Delta-1035's Galactic Civil War on this map and just couldn't resist doing a video on it.
This is Tatooine at War by El_Fabricio aka the_legend, his newest map that spans pretty much every well known location on Tatooine including Mos Eisley, the Dune Sea, Tusken Camp, Jundland Wastes, the Moisture Farms and even Jabba's Palace. It is literally huge and yet never does it once feel empty. The map comes with tons of content from new units, to heroes from the canned SWBF3, to new vehicles, to animations and flybys and even a gorgeous space-to-ground transition featuring cloud cover and atmospheric effects in space.
As if that was not enough, the map comes with full support for Delta-1035's Force Awakens based mod: Galactic Civil War II. This is a massive era mod that adds the Star Wars: The Force Awakens era to all of the stock maps as well as several custom maps such as this one.
The new sides are pretty well balanced (there does seem to be a small advantage towards the First Order) with the same basic structure for both which includes two special units and two ultra-unit heroes.
Both sides are armed with an impressive arsenal of lore accurate weapons including those seen in the movie such as the F-11D Blaster Rifle and the SE-44C Blaster Pistol. The Resistance also sport some weapons from DICE's Star Wars Battlefront which is a nice reference to the new game.
As always with this mod, there are two 'ultra-unit' heroes on each side. Here on Tatooine at War, Rey and Han Solo are playable for the Resistance whilst the First Order have Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma. As well as this, the Millennium Falcon and Slave I are still available and so you can pilot those as all classes apart from the heroes.
All in all, it's great to see these two fantastic projects crossover and offer a brand new, unique Ground-to-Space experience. I highly recommend you download both of these mods and give it a go!

OK, I tried this map to check it out after I saw this video and I can do nothing but praise it. For me, this is one of the best maps ever made. I think all map-makers should aim for something like this if they want to make awesome maps.

Love this map. Large-scale battles are always my favourite. The only thing I have a problem with for TFA mod is the heroes can't enter vehicles/turrets at all.
*Han tries to enter the Millennium Falcon and it doesn't let him.*

Other than that, is Yavin IV working for you after the latest update? It crashes for me for some reason. Is it because TR-8R is in the map? He's in Heroes Assault so I'm assuming he's in one of the maps and since Yavin IV looks so much like Takodana...
Damn, just look at that saber combat. They had it right way back then. Now it's like controlling a tank.
Tatooine at war was awesome, but now that supports this mod it's incredible! Amazing video dude

The Battlefront Is it not fun because it's so large? Atleast I don't usually like very huge maps, except this one and a few others. Anyway that doesn't matter, not everyone likes everything. Damn I love how some of the models are based off the toys. Like that black and red FO stormtrooper and that speeder bike.

And I was one of the people who deffended EA and gave battlefront an honest shot too. I did have fun with EA's battlefront for a little while but I just can't get into for the past 2 months or so, just the sheer lack of content can't hold my attention, walker assult is probably the only thing they kind of did right, but there is still not nearly enough there with that mode.
After seeing this, a fan project made for fun over a couple of months being this oustanding, there is just no excuss for EA not to be able to create free force awakens content, clone wars content, j just more content in general. There is no excuse for not being able to play offline against bots. Seriously, they had such an easy job with battlefront, just modle it after the original 2 games on a larger scale with better graphics. How did they mess up so badly?

Yeah I bought the full version of Bandicam a good year or so ago now. Makes the finished product much more professional without the watermark.

I wish that the game developers of Star Wars Battlefront 2 would have made the new Star Wars. I mean, the game is really fun, but it isn't the same if the developers created the game. I was not disappointed in the new Star Wars game, but I just wish that Dice would have looked at their predecessor's two games, and looked at what they could have done for better modes, and made the old game modes in the game just as good, if not better.

I see, I see. It's rather fun, isn't it? TAW was my favorite map, and with this mod it's a good time waster. Only drawback I can see is the lack of vehicles, I hope Delta adds some more in the next update.
Why isn't this mod working on mine. The TFA era doesn't appear in any stock maps and even Tatooine at War. But the Jakku Outpost map does appear, but there's no era. Basically, it's unplayable. Please help.

I use Bandicam (full version) for most of my videos but yeah, I use Shadowplay for the EA Battlefront vids.

+ᅚᅚᅚᅚᅚᅚᅚ Lol, I cant. They both record at 1080p 60FPS so I never notice any difference. I just use Shadow play for the new game because Bandicam can't detect it.
