2:40 That’s Yeosang!! I was so happy because he got more lines that usual this comeback. He doesn’t sing that much because he has a different range than the other members but he gives his all anyway. He sang to ‘Me After You’ and you can hear just how different his voice is when he sings ballads.

Tbh most kpop songs have rap in them, some of which are better than others 😀Ateez have a huge storyline going through all their MVs which is quite difficult to explain succinctly 😆

Ateez in thier "lore" / Universe have another version of themselves. They are called Halateez, which can be seen in Hala Hala Mv and Say my Name Mv etc etc.
Guerilla mv which was the comeback before this was all about revolution against oppresors (if you havent seen it go watch it) I believe this mv takes place after that.
From what I heard from theories etc this is what I have gathered about this mv.
Halateez are no longer there (The scarecrow is wearing thier "uniform") and it seems like they are praying for them to come back.
San who is the guy who had the massive ball on his head, sacrificed himself to save the world and emotion. You can see at the start of the mv there are floating rocks etc etc byt the end of the mv, the water falls. Signifying that San succeeded in bringing humanity back ( e.g gravity/ human emotions - which is also why they are talking about feeling in the subtitles).
SO basically its them being absoloutely awesome and saving the world. Again.
Although we arent sure whether the Ateez in this mv will have its own name like Halateez as we arent exactly sure 100% what happened but hopefully they will explain soon. Hope this helped.
If you need more videos to react to I advice going in order, Also watch some B tracks like Win, Horizon, Little Boy etc. thier b-side tracks are just as good as the title tracks like this mv.

Ateez are known as "the ones who will raise the standard for kpop" bc of their strong live performances both vocally, musically, and in dance. They get into character a lot- making their performances feel like theatric shows. Ateez's theme is Pirates- they have a whole storyline going on and Ateez are probably one of the only groups who incorporate their lore within both dance, on shows, and music videos consistently and they have a habit of planning their comebacks a year or two ahead of time
I recommend you react to ATEEZ's KINGDOM stages [there are 5] and their DVD concert videos that are on TH-cam, your ears and eyes would be blessed
Ateez has a different music and story line...they are incredible dancers, vocalists, expression kings...and the light of k-pop.... waiting for more ATEEZ 👑🏴☠️ reactions...

Ateez known as 'last 30sec group' by Kfans. Because most of their songs have a banger for last part - The Real, Guerrilla, Hala Hala, Halazia.
They also have a big and long storyline. It kinda difficult to explain as it already at their 4th years. But as a summarize, Ateez is a group of pirates searching for their 'treasure' - their own identity and happiness. Somehow at the other dimension, there is Halateez who live in Strictland which the place that banned any music, dancing and emotions. Halateez use the cromer (hourglass) to change the dimension and asks Ateez to help them. As for now, the last comeback (Guerilla) they already at the Strictland and trying to dethrone the gov. Hongjoong (we call it Captain, the rapper) said if The World series end, we already at 50% of the storyline.
This Halazia actually not related to the main storyline but the spin off. Hence why the albumed named as Spin Off : Witness. Probably the witness about what was happened in Strictland.
Oh, every Ateez's songs will have some spoiler to the next comeback. Usually at the end of the video. If you watch all Ateez's MVs, you will find a lot of familiar items or things. Like this one, we got fedora hat (the one that Halateez wear), the Answer MV's room, the bell sound similar to Guerilla MV, the hourglass etc.
Its fun to listen to Ateez because all their songs sound different yet we can immediately says 'ahh this is Ateez's music'.
Wow what a story line, also makes this music video make more sense to me now so cheers! They should make a movie about it and use the songs in cutscenes lol
@@jamieislazy with Ateez, it not a surprise if they did it later. Hahahahaha. Last year, they participated in Kingdom : Legendary War show. They need to perform live and interestingly, all of their stages, are related to their lore and even a big spoiler for their 2022 comeback (Guerilla). They give a hints here and there including their vlogs, stage performance, concerts etc. Hope you enjoy your journey with Ateez music 😍

I suggest watching their "Spin off: From the Witness Prologue" short film/video that was released before HALAZIA, it'll give you a bit more context for the song.
And here's a short summary of basics of ATEEZ' whole storyline (which is part most of their music, live stages, variety shows, short films and story booklets that come with some of their physical albums - yeah it's a lot!):
-There is dimension A, where ATEEZ are from and where they are "normal" guys fighting their everyday struggles but they are united for their love for music and dance.
-Then there's dimension Z, also referred as Strickland. In this dimension the government has deemed emotions as harmful for humans, so they have banned all arts including music & dance (as they have the power to evoke emotions) and the government is brainwashing people. But ATEEZ of this dimension, referred as Halateez, wake up and start to fight back using music as their weapon against their totalitarian government. The resistance movement is also called Black Pirates. This is the world songs like Guerrilla, Hala Hala and HALAZIA talk about.
-Long story short, the Black Pirates contact ATEEZ using an hourglass device (called the Cromer), which can be used to travel and send messages to different dimensions, you see it often in their MV's. The Black Pirates and ATEEZ join forces against the government.
So check out their other MV's as well, like Guerrilla, Answer, Hala Hala and Wave! Or you you want to get into the story, then go through their music in chronological order starting from their debut songs Pirate King and Treasure😊

Thank you for this ATEEZ reaction! For me, ATEEZ is THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST in KPop, especially 4th generation, and they are far ahead of their time and always EPIC in their music, performance and storytelling.
Their storyline/lore is super exciting & intriguing, but a bit complicated, as it involves pirates/rebels/guerrillas, time travel and alternate universes, including a dystopian society, where ATEEZ must now take over for HALATEEZ (the alternate version of themselves in this dystopian world called Strickland). HALATEEZ are rebels/anarchists who wear the all black outfits and fedora hats and the facemasks. (Watch ATEEZ's MV's Hala Hala, Say My Name & Answer) They (First Halateez and now ATEEZ) are all in a fight for freedom of art, emotion & expression (that has been taken away by government leaders) in this dystopian world. Also, since their debut, the storyline, including whatever is happening in each of their MV's, weaves in & out of different time periods, (past, present, future), along with the different universes. And so the lore is about ATEEZ'S full journey in all of this.
Their storyline goes all the way back to their debut and pretty much every single music video and every song that they have connects - in some way or another - to the lore. There are quite a few TH-cam videos that explain the storyline or at least have theories about the lore.
But for now, this will help explain the MV for HALAZIA a bit more.

Also, remember that in the ATEEZ lore, "HALA" means "Hearts Awakened, Live Alive" and "Zia" means "Light" - which is why they chant "Be The Light, HALAZIA!" 🔥❤️

FYI : The Abandoned Mall with Flood at Lowest Floor is the real place in Bangkok, Thailand. Abandoned since 2004 after it collapsed which is why the top roof wide opened ( There were more floor back then but collapsed down due to weight ),
I’ve been there before and it was for sure creepy, now renovated as a tourist attraction ( Still in haunted building concept LOL ).

If you want more rap, watch all of Ateez. Also BIGBANG (kings of kpop) were one of the first groups to have the multiple rappers.

I know you react to Stray Kids. Proud STAY here! If you like your rap, then try 3racha from their Maxident album (drill/grime like). Also Changbin's Streetlight, Maze of Memories, We Go, Muddy Water (Felix's voice!) and for something a bit experimental but I think super cool - Tortoise and the Hare.
I am Stay, but Ateez was the first 4th gen group I ever heard. I just found SKZ like right after and got super into them. But this song is so amazing!! I am totally obsessed with it and no one I know in real life cares, lol 😭😭. I am thankful for TH-cam so I have people to get excited about things with! I am definitely going to be listening to Ateez a lot more now! Yeosang caught my attention for sure and I love Seonghwa's pops 4:26 and just general vibe, but I have been watching interviews and guides and things, and I think I might end up OT8.

ATEEZ has a habit of doing Double Title Tracks, it's like one side portrays a story and the other portrays a parallel to that story. (The rest of their Lore is found in their Albums with a Diary Version -- so this list of MV chronologically is a good starting point) Lastly, all videos are available in their Official Channels (KR and JP).
