Patient Centric Healthcare: Season 2, Episode 2, I am in conversation with Joseph Leggio (Joe). Joe is the Executive Director of International Relations at Northwell Health, New York state's largest hospital network, with more than 21,000 affiliated physicians treating over 2 million patients every year. Joe has spent a large part of his early career days in fashion, retail, merchandising, branding brands like J Crew, Nordstrom to name a few. His last stint in high-end fashion was with Louis Vuitton as a Visual Merchandising Lead. Joe made a big transition from fashion to healthcare and has now spent over a decade driving patient centricity in healthcare. His role in Northwell is to bring all aspects of care closer and closer to the patient. On this podcast, Joe and I discuss his journey, how on a daily basis he incorporates learnings from fashion to healthcare, and finally his next vision for Northwell as a lead for international services, bringing in patients from across the globe to experience world-class care.
