This is very neat!!! I don't drink much anymore because I breastfeed but giiirrrrllllll Bacardi was my jammy jam lol. That bit about the chocolate is very very interesting.
Lol yesss it takes me back a couple of years too 😅 I was used to drinking the cheap versions of bacardi & it was so nice trying the more high end ones on the tour without any mixers 'cause the difference is crazy!
Not a huge drinker myself with my medication that I take for my autism but I still really enjoyed the video. Very nicely done.

Lol that's also my dance when I eat! We both have different happy moments. & yes! My husband speaks Spanish, but prefers English as it's his first language so that is a plus

I went here back in 2014 and I actually don’t remember much from the tour 😢. But I do remember the rum tasting lol. Thanks for sharing this experience and showing me I need to go back to Puerto Rico!

Apparently the smelling techniques are different for wine & rum, so that was something new we learned that day lol
Me and my wife went on this tour, and we loved the smell, when you walk into the visitor center, where you go to the tasting room, would you have an Idea of what it was?
I’m a big smell person, so I relate to this question so much lol. I don’t know what it was, but if I’m ever there again I’ll ask & report back!
The strong smell in Bacardí is the fermenting process of the sugar cane.
You are right, Bacardí should be more authentic, more PR in their tour like the haciends.
The locations is not "Anywhere" next to San Juan. Each place has it name, each town is not San Juan. The place is called Cataño. One of the 78 towns in PR. Yes is part of the Metropolitan Area but call it by the name... Cataño.
