That was an awesome video! Mouth is watering just thinking about how good those fish will taste. Nice job to both of you and great job Aaron McCallum with Aaron's Angling Adventures.
Love that river...your guide is awesome for showing you that the collars and cheeks are tasty as well. #nowaste...I spent a week at Wind/Drano...I collected the carcasses from the others I fished with. I took home just as much in collars and backbones, as I did fillets of my own fish. So worth it.
You can in fact keep cutthroat on that river. I fish that river on a consistent basis and even just double checked. You can keep 2 trout above 14” in length on that river.
Looks like a great day on the river! You boys killed it! Had a great guide as well, that makes all the difference!
Awesome day no doubt!
Looks like a great trip
Aaron is an awesome guide!
That's one of my two most favorite rivers to fish, with decent public access! Great job, and congratulations on those slabs!
Thanks man!

Great video. Can you tell us what county you were fishing in? I've been away from Washington State for about 35 years and am now living in Michigan.
Fishing is real when you gotta call in sick I know how that is lol
How long ago was this?
What state is this?
Alaska
Washington
Washington
The river is the Kalama in Washington state.
It is a great river for bank and boat fishing
Does anyone know the guides name?
Pretty sure the Kalama is closed for night fishing….
Thought they all are.
1 hour before sunrise I think
I know that graffiti
I’m just sitting here…jealous….sitting in Ohio. 🤦🏼♂️
Good fishing on the Kalama I see.
I suspect the river run from the ball field has some Chinook in there
Great times
