Every, single time I've tried to 'make it happen' I've been blocked and it was so frustrating. The most significant life (and business) things that have happened were effortless and just came to me. When I started my coaching practice in 1989, I manifested a gorgeous, free office as well as 3 doctors who provided a constant stream of referrals for years. I manifested a car out of the blue and a free place to live. I had no money when I started my business. That was 34 years ago. I could go on and on about all of the things that have just come to me in the past 3+ decades but, all I can say is WOW. I now understand WHY when I tried to MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN, all I got were closed doors. Awesome video, thank you Karen!

Projector here - I don't really f* with the percentages of types because I honestly don't think it's relevant. If the percentages are also changing, it matters even less. Because that means things are evening out. I'm saying this bc of the mutation of 2027 and something I heard about Projectors becoming more common. People want to feel special, sure That's fair enough, but it's a paradox because we're all special and unique. It's the ego speaking when we want to be a different type or have a different birth chart - not being content with what we have and can easily channel out to the world. Everyone has gifts. I love the warm generator aura, They're quite easy to spot when it comes to energy consciousness. That would be a rabbithole to get into here so i'll shut up now 😂
Hi Alvia, where did you hear that the percentages are evening out? I’ve never heard that. I don’t associate the percentages with being special or not. There is so much variation in the charts that it is clear to me everyone is special. But the aura types having certain percentages in the population makes sense to me in terms of how we function as a society. Take care
Yup, I got totally depressed being labelled as "just another workerbee, the fire that gets manipulated by others to fuel their dreams instead of my own" is what my ego said, but it was a brutal truth cuz I have def spent most of my life being miserably frustrated with pushing & initiating all the time & pouring a shit ton of hard work into projects that never seem to go anywhere, so, in a way now I know why my entire 40+ year creative "career" has been largely a series of giant disappointments after each inspiring idea that I devoted all my energy to, only to put it out there to the sound of crickets. Boof. Yeah. Oh well. All that work for nothing. But waiting waiting waiting pisses me off too so it's a good thing I'm at the age now where I no longer give a 💩 about anything. Yay. Answers. At least now I know. 🤓😂😭😮💨

I totally agree with using Life Force energy well. But, not stopping to rest doesn’t align for me. I’ve never felt like going going going all day long has felt good, even if I’m doing something I love.
Hi there, I probably didn't express that thoroughly...resting is definitely an essential part of the generator design. The idea of going from one thing to the next is if your life-force resonates with something you can tend to go and go until your allotment of 'doing' energy is used up. There are other factors that effect this...such as if you have a passive or active body, and how many motors you have defined, personally I love to rest now that I"m in my roof phase as a 6th line, but when I was a 3rd line I went all day.
I got my chart, and went into this very skeptical, but watched all the way through, and all of it, especially the end, really resonated with me. I'll try to take your advice, it is very much needed in my life right now. I just was told I am a generator too. But I am confused, I am a very serious introvert, my hobby is to read books and collect stuff. I always have like 1 best friend to whom I stick, I only like deep friendships and conversations and I dont smile much. Can I still be a Generator?
Yes. Being an introvert has nothing to do with having an open and enveloping aura. However as you de-condition you may be surprised to discover that some of your introversion is just a coping mechanism and that your essence blooms in a way that surprises you

Thank you so much lovely for that reflection. I hadn’t thought about it, but the longer videos were filmed probably in 2017-2018, versus the recent one in 2021, so it was actually a time warp and I cleared my aura a lot in that time/so much healing. It’s an ongoing process .

Yesterday, my journey lead me to Human Design. I researched all 4 types before doing my own chart. Basically wanted to have a chance to guess which I'd be. I knew with 1000% certainly that I am a Projector. I had NO doubt in my mind because everything resonated strongly. Well......apparently.....I am a Generator. I ended up doing 4 different charts and they all said Generator. Nothing about it makes sense or clicks with me. Have you ever met someone whose human design chart seems completely off? Any insight/advice?
Are you missing any of your birth information such as time or location? Sometimes that can impact a chart. Aside from that we often pick up conditioning around our centers due to external influences and not living in alignment, it can sometimes make us feel like we don't fit the general types.
I felt like that too, was sure I was a projector but am definitely a generator. I assumed it was because I was brought up by two projector parents, so a lot of projector behaviour conditioning maybe. Have also just realised I have my conscious sun in a projector gate and actually only one gate of my incarnation cross is in a generator gate.
I was really into your explanation right until the end! I think calling generators "slaves" is very lazy, regardless of the text you may have learned from.
They are quite different. Did you watch the video about the projector? That will help to understand why projectors need to be invited vs. just respond.
My biggest takeaway each time I encounter Human Design is profound sadness. All of the things that I'm to do while I'm just waiting for things to respond to could not be any more soul-sucking to me. And waiting to respond not on things I want, on things that are decided by, I don't know who, that are "right" for me. Your saying that Generators (I'm a MG) are the "worker bees," how pedestrian and repetitive. It just keeps getting worse.
I would suggest this is not for you. It's meant to be empowering information. Everything about how you are interpreting this is off of the true frequency of what it means to be a generator...which is to be ALIVE and SATISFIED. I am a manifesting generator and am 42 years old. I've never had a real job. I work a lot on my business and creative projects...creating books, courses, videos, audiobooks, helping clients etc. and there is nothing pedestrian or repetitive about it. The problem is in how you are hearing this information, not in the information, which again, to me suggests it's not for you.
This is very helpful, thank you Karen! I do have a question. I've recently started to understand my HD and so I knoew/feel what my energy is intended for but I'm still stuck in my old paradigm, meaning I'm still working "a job" that drains me and although I recognise now what I'm truly meant to be doing and I find satisfaction in it, I don't know how to go about the transition as I'm not meant to initiate but wait to respond, right? It doesn't mean I'm not doing anything, it's more like I create and offer things but I'm not seeing much interest for me to respond to, if that makes sense. I'm a Mani/Gen btw, 2/4 profile. Whilst I drain my energy doing what I'm not meant to be doing it also depletes it for the things I'm meant to be doing, what to do? 🙉😄
I totally get how tricky this is!!! At some point you’ll need to make the leap of faith. But you can trust that you’ll attract the right things to you!

What is the difference between a generator waiting to respond and a projector waiting for an invitation? They both sound like waiting to respond to something. I’m an emotional generator but I only have one generator gate in my incarnation cross (my conscious Earth) and the others are in projector gates. Energy-wise I feel much more like a projector as in needing to rest a lot and being quite an observer.

Hi Bilal, yes you can advertise. HD is meant to be an experiment… for you with waiting to respond and to following what lights up your sacral. Try not to take it as a prescription and to be too dogmatic about it.
And what here is not clear, under the video is even written in stages everything, including for the very beginners. If you don't want to start with courses, well try to order pdf decoding of the bodygraf. I'm not 100% sure if Mina does it, but at least search the internet, you'll gain knowledge and come back to the course more prepared.
I am an introvert too! Being a generator doesn't mean being an extrovert...it just means that your sacral life-force resonates with specific things that you are meant to give your energy to.
Love the concept but struggle understanding where this information originates from? What evidence supports it? Seems very similar to astrology where it’s mostly people resonate and want it to be true explanation and always seem to connect the dots. Here with an open mind but would like to understand it more technically and less as philosophy.

How do you substantiate this from a birthtime or date? This doesnt seem right to me at all. Even with Astrology one can investigate the reading by energy of the planet's in the chart in time of birth and the progression through life. This has nothing of the sort. Ì thought that Human design would have question and answer format to assess oneself. So therefore Ì can't get behind this as there is no truth or logic to the concept.
You are absolutely right. This is not logical and can’t be substantiated. It is mystical in its origins and although there is much logic within the system itself it’s foundation is mystical.

also, if there is nothing to 'respond' to, a generator can go for periods of time without much doing.

My biggest takeaway each time I encounter Human Design is profound sadness. All of the things that I'm to do while I'm just waiting for things to respond to could not be any more soul-sucking to me. And waiting to respond not on things I want, on things that are decided by, I don't know who, that are "right" for me. Your saying that Generators (I'm a MG) are the "worker bees," how pedestrian and repetitive. It just keeps getting worse.
I would suggest this is not for you. It's meant to be empowering information. Everything about how you are interpreting this is off of the true frequency of what it means to be a generator...which is to be ALIVE and SATISFIED. I am a manifesting generator and am 42 years old. I've never had a real job. I work a lot on my business and creative projects...creating books, courses, videos, audiobooks, helping clients etc. and there is nothing pedestrian or repetitive about it. The problem is in how you are hearing this information, not in the information, which again, to me suggests it's not for you.

This is very helpful, thank you Karen! I do have a question. I've recently started to understand my HD and so I knoew/feel what my energy is intended for but I'm still stuck in my old paradigm, meaning I'm still working "a job" that drains me and although I recognise now what I'm truly meant to be doing and I find satisfaction in it, I don't know how to go about the transition as I'm not meant to initiate but wait to respond, right? It doesn't mean I'm not doing anything, it's more like I create and offer things but I'm not seeing much interest for me to respond to, if that makes sense. I'm a Mani/Gen btw, 2/4 profile. Whilst I drain my energy doing what I'm not meant to be doing it also depletes it for the things I'm meant to be doing, what to do? 🙉😄
I totally get how tricky this is!!! At some point you’ll need to make the leap of faith. But you can trust that you’ll attract the right things to you!

I’m an emotional generator but I only have one generator gate in my incarnation cross (my conscious Earth) and the others are in projector gates. Energy-wise I feel much more like a projector as in needing to rest a lot and being quite an observer.

Hi Garrett! I hear you! On my youtube page there is a 'STart Here" playlist. The first video in there is called "What is Human Design?" That explains the origins. It has mystical origins, so for those who need a logical explanation, it is probably not for you!
How do you substantiate this from a birthtime or date? This doesnt seem right to me at all. Even with Astrology one can investigate the reading by energy of the planet's in the chart in time of birth and the progression through life. This has nothing of the sort.
Ì thought that Human design would have question and answer format to assess oneself.
So therefore Ì can't get behind this as there is no truth or logic to the concept.
You are absolutely right. This is not logical and can’t be substantiated. It is mystical in its origins and although there is much logic within the system itself it’s foundation is mystical.
