Yep! This is the raw energy and badass bite through nails metal of Metallica. Before Selloutica. They have only had three great albums, Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning and Master of Puppets. The rest are garbage.
It amazes me how well you guys capture Metallica's live sound. The production values are off the charts. I love how the drummer even follows Lars's usual live playing instead of just going along with what is on the album. Lots of energy.
I don’t know how I went down a Metallica cover band black hole but you are the ONLY one that I would pay to see. Amazing energy and incredibly precise. I really like that the vocals aren’t a copycat. Awesome!!!
This sounded exactly like the Metallica 2009 nimes blackened... exactly the same... even the bassist sounds like Robert Trujillo... these are really some talented people..
There's a def Leppard tribute band I saw, the drummer plays with one arm and they do it perfectly! Some of these bands are older and dont sound like they did in the 80's obviously! But Thank bands like them who made music like that 30 year's ago! I will always love 80's and 90's Rock and Metal! Metallica, Whitesnake, Skid Row, Queensryche, Skid Row, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue Etc. So many Great Bands for young people who will never see true Metal and Rock Good Tribute Bands are the next best thing I appreciate a Good tribute band! Thank You too all the good tribute bands out there. If I get goosebumps listening to a tribute band its a great feeling too hear true music played to perfection by talented musicians!!! SCREAM You guys are exceptional good chemistry together keep on rocking!

My DAD was a classic rock singer, cover's and originals its natural for some people in there blood!!! Some people absolutely shouldn't be tribute bands we've seen it but id watch guys like this any day put on a great show!!!
Songs from And Justice for All might have made a better impression if it all was recorded like this. Blackened is just one example that suffers so bad from that trash 80's recording. If you have a big sub the bass is huge in this! Very nice.
Give Blistered Earth's version a listen. They're way tighter than these guys and play it to perfection, including the original solo, not Kirks sloppy shortened version. I'm telling you these guys suck compared to Blistered Earth!!

Maybe you're the one that needs new ears. Like I said before, Blistered Earth does a WAY BETTER job than this band. I've been listening to Blackened since it came out in 1988. One of Metallica's best And these guys are rushing through it like they all drank too many beers and they have to take a leak.
