Reigns being #30 was creative writing themselves into a corner. They knew from the start that they had no surprise entrants and since Orton was going to win he needed to be protected from any heat. So in comes Roman to eliminate Taker and Bray to get all the heat. Reigns was in essence a sacrificial lamb. Sucks that he gets so much shit. He's just doing his job.

Owens always takes the biggest bumps. Michunoku Driver that bent him in half on a ladder. Launched through 2 tables against Ambrose. Back body dropped on 6 or 7 chairs from Ambrose. Powerbombed out of the ring through 2 tables by Rollins in HIAC. Brainbuster on the Apron by Sami. Superman punched off the tope rope through a pyramid of chairs with a powerbomb through an announce table to boot
Kurt Angle at 30 would rock the house down. Imagine Kurt Angle and Undertaker stare down that takes you back in time, then Kurt Angle stares down with Brock Lesnar. What a wasted opportunity to bring good nostalgia.

What if Vince books Wyatt as a Shang Tsung, stealer of souls. Abigel was nothing more than the world title. If Wyatt wins at Elimination Chamber, he takes opponents souls' like the Undertaker. Its' fitting for his character soo far, I believe Wyatt will build is his own prison on smackdown

In regards to making Roman sympathetic, whoever booked his match at WM 31 knew what to do (rumor was it was Heyman as a contributor at least). Lesnar was beating the crap out of Roman and everytime he struggled to his feet the crowd was getting more and more behind him, so I don't get it, they know how to get Reigns over but they just tell him "go out there and be more of a Superman than Cena".
few minor things that could have improved the Rumble:
1: make the ramp shorter, i swear it took like a minute just for ppl to get to the ring, thats why they had 2 minute interim's instead of 90 seconds
2: spread the eliminations out among more ppl, sooo many ppl had zero eliminations!! even Dillingers who came out to a HUGE pop essentially did nothing
3: dont make the end of the rumble so loaded...like Taker v Goldberg v Lesnar coulda been like around the 18-20 mark instead of 27-29 like all they did was throw some ppl out then eliminate each other so who cares when it happens
4: dont give the WHOLE new day an entry...1, maybe 2...Titus shoulda beat Big E for his spot and then thats a story that can build and continue
5: then all the much more major and important things like not Roman at 30, a decent return, another debut, etc
I think one cool idea would have been if they didn't want to have Braun seem strong with the 7 eliminations, another way to go is with the "monster" concept and have Undertaker and Goldberg stare down at some point in the match and have Braun come out as the next entry and the two look at him as he comes down. Or push this all back a bit, a little earlier and then have Braun do the multiple eliminations. Future Godzilla.
I was really expecting/hoping Cena would turn heel considering the facial expressions he was giving. If they where planning to go that route they should have had Cena lose to AJ than ambush him on Smackdown. I know turning him heel was unlikely but it just seemed that way during the match until the win.
What I got from the Royal Rumble is we will have a IC Ladder match again between Ambrose, Corbin, Zayn, Miz, Ziggler and Crews
Larson's reason for why Roman was #30 is exactly why I felt he was in the Rumble.

I think people seem to forget it was a succession of moves to eliminate Braun. Sami hit the Helluva Kick followed by a top rope dropkick by Ambrose hitting him to the ropes then finally Corbin clotheslined him out in his only memorable moment otherwise he was a background character in the match.

That Charlotte Fatal Four Way question is all about how WWE would book it and perspective. You have to compare a streak with a streak. In context say when the Undertaker was undefeated at Wrestlemania, he did not win but did not take the fall in a multi-man match. Is he still undefeated? It is all about the how one defines a loss.

I had a similar issue to Dan with the end of the Rumble, my last major thing I saw was the Survivor Series, so when the finale came down to Reigns vs Orton, it was just a replay of the end of the Survivor Series all over again.
Balor being in the Rumble would have been completely stupid especially if he won it. He never lost the title so he should have an automatic rematch when he comes back.

I feel that the problem with Reigns is that when he wins its not interesting and when he loses it makes him weaker. Wrestlers like Jericho and Owens can lose but still build strong and interesting characters. Being unstoppable only works for wrestlers like Taker and Goldberg.
with that being said I want to see Jericho, Reigns, Owens in a Triple threat TLC match so long as Reigns doesn't act like he's invincible.
I have no problem with the length of Steve and Larson's shows. I do have issues with the Royal Rumble match. I don't like that there was no legit reason for Roman Reigns to 1) enter the Rumble, and 2) target the Undertaker. If he is indeed a face, why attack a legend...who is a face.
Taker has been teleporting for years, Bray got it from him. with Goldberg destroying Brock again, I don't want to see another match. If Brock was a plucky young upstart it would show how he would be progressing, but he's not getting better at his age so why would I think that it would be any different.
Why are they acting like Undertaker just learned how to teleport. He's been doing it for yearsssssss.

I don't mean any disrespect to Dan, Steve or Larson, but I think the reason most people just don't like him is because Dan seems pretty disinterested in wrestling as a whole.
You can hear it in his tone of voice, the fact he doesn't watch the product and his ignorance on the subject. He sounds like he really don't care much about it and doesn't have much to offer the conversation so he adds in his kind of humor which is what people don't really like.
It's not something against Dan personally, I just believe he doesn't like wrestling much anymore.
Any hopes of Reigns ever getting over died with no selling brass knuckles and this Royal Rumble.

Why are you so convinced Goldberg is going to beat Owens at Fastlane for the title? In my mind that is never happening. The Mania Card will be something like this:
Goldberg v Lesnar
Undertaker v Reigns
Rollins v Triple H (or Joe after RAW)
Owens v Balor ( Uni title)
Jericho v Zayn v Strowman (US Title)
That's what makes the most sense on the RAW side. Smackdown is more up in the air and could completely changed depending on Chamber results but the RAW matches seem more set in stone
