MHFU was my first monster hunter game and that first Tigrex quest was extra challenging for me that I almost gave up. I remember gathering materials for yian garuga armor and eagle cleaver to finally defeat the Tigrex and it was so rewarding when I finally did it

tigrex's moveset is a lot less weighted towards the charge when you're basically touching his face. he'll still do it once in a while and there's also the double bite, but both of those moves can be rolled through with some practice (and if his head doesn't scoop you to his right side lol)

Freedom Unite was my first monster hunter game and Tigrex was my first wall. Took me a week to beat him and i had to follow a guide (first time doing that too). In the end i had to make the Khezu greatsword and spam use traps so i could full charge his face repeatedly. I dreaded fighting him every time in that game for what felt like ages lol.

I swear monster hunter unity is something especially on this monster, this mofo ruined my joystick, worth it👌🏻 after beating its ass i fcking make a dual blade out of it and ohhh boy that dual blade can beat anything or probably im used to it, fcking love this game since i was 9 where i have no idea dodging is a thing and most essential on this game haha
