hello. i get an error on the command screen when trying to make the disk active. the selected disk is not a fixed mbr disk. the active command can only be used on fixed mbr disks. i,m usine a 2 tb nvme ssd. is this not possible?

For most, instead just lower the Maximum size Down a bit, so system files partitions can also be created.. works
After setup, make sure to give the leftover unallocated space to the partition

In the end = I had to switch back to Windows 8

Choose the corresponding drive letter where you want to install windows

Active does work only on fixed mbr device
You'll need to make sure your disk is set to GPT instead of MBR to use it as an active partition.
The first method work like well for me thanks 😊 you have got a subscriber l have been trying for 2 hours watch so many videos but your work in seconds

Use are entering the wrong alphabet.. You need to enter the drive letter of your hard disk where you want to install windows
