The original VA for Iris for X4 and PXZ2 (Yuko Mizutani) is no longer with us since she passed away in May 2016, so there could be a case of them having prepared a replacement VA mixed with the original voice data from PXZ2 to be loaded but due to current travel restrictions as a result of Japan's own Pandemic policy in which their "Bubble Travel" arrangement does NOT include Taiwan (which had ZERO domestic cases for more than 52 days and ZERO imported cases for more than 2 weeks), this delay is something not unexpected. To note, the case of old and new VA combination isn't something novel in DiVE, Second Armor X's voice data in DiVE is mixed from that of the old and new VAs for X, Shoutaro Morikubo and Takahiro Sakurai respectively. The difference is that both men are still alive at this time, and even helped Capcom Japan record TH-cam video of them playing the very characters they lent their voice for, in promoting the Rockman X Legacy Collection Series released in July 2018 (both are playing the PS4 edition of this game).
Damn this game looks amazing, The part at 6:32 where Iris defeats zero and the iconic (WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOR!) the audio quality to it sounds freaking awesome

It feels weird to see iris fight in her standard form, because her whole thing with her and her brother is that the desing for them was initially for a single reploid. It was supose to be both a powerful yet merciful fighter. But that contradicts itself so the makers divide it. With colonel getting the fire power and iris the diplomat skills.

Iris can be playable character in this game, but there's still no SH figure of her that everyone is wanting to see to be made, and added to their collection.

Neither do I. The only thing I know is to never use multi-hit attacks against Iris or else..... kaboom! Snipers might be a way to go against her but I haven't tested it out yet. And 4* Cinnamon since her damn syringe is a single hit and can 1-shot us
@Chaotic Emerald For one thing, controls for platformers are kinda tough to nail on mobile. Then if this is anything like the Japanese games I know, they cosnume a lot of battery because they show real time and connect to the internet a lot
Mobile games make more money off of microtransactions and reach a wider audience, bigger companies like Capcom and Game Freak will end up putting more effort into their mobile games on purpose unfortunately.
They still didn't added joystick compatibility? I believe the whole "mobiles aren't for real games" thing a outdated and backward way of thinking for people stuck on the past. Smartphones nowdays are perfectly capable of becoming a birthplace for excellent games. The only reason I didn't sticked to X Dive was the lack of controller support since touch control kind of sucks in this game. They CAN port it to consoles, but they don't NEED it. Everyone has a phone and the game is free, in the sense of, you don't need to pay to win
I know gacha games don't usually get ported to consoles for obvious reasons, but if they made the various characters, costumes, weapons, etc. unlockable without having to pay extra money, I would totally pay $60 for this game on Switch.
It sucks that Iris doesn't have a voice in Dive. I know it's touchy for characters having their voices replaced in Japan, but I would have loved to hear Iris with a voice similar to her original seiyuu, may she rest in peace.
