I have an ikea mattress and I have always used non-ikea sheets without problem. Maybe it’s because I’m in the US, but I don’t think they make special sizes here.
I think they use European sizes even in the UK, which aren’t the same as UK sizes. I live in France and IKEA’s sizes are the same as other shops but I guess for you guys it’s not so that’s quite frustrating 😅
For drying your sheets /laundry faster, I see people use either dehumidifiers or heated airers with covers. That might be a good investment. It also heats up the room it's in so it's a win-win. The heated airer dries sheets in 3 to 4 hours.
