    Nice review. I use the JM WingClaw 2.5 with the closed-soft loops for all my pistols. Like you, I've tried other brands to see if there's anything better and I always end up sending them back, because they aren't. If JM Custom Kydex couldn't make a holster for a pistol I was looking at I probably wouldn't buy the pistol, and I'm not kidding.

    Excellent review and great tip on the wedge angled. Love JM custom, Tony makes some of the best holsters and has excellent customer service. I’m like you that I keep trying other holsters but keep coming back as well. Except for the tenicor holsters, they are the only ones that I would put up their and slightly ahead of JM, but Tony has a bigger variety of holsters depending on the gun.

    Jm Custom kydex is the bee's knees. I love my George with mono block clips. Even with a full size 17rd. gun.

    Great review 👍. Any experience with their "CUSTOM AIWB Holster - Wing Claw 2.0"? If so, how does its comfort and concealment compare to the holsters in your vid?
    Also, if you've any experience with AIWB holsters from T1C, T Rex Arms, and/or Tenicor, how do JMs' stack up? Just as concealable or no?
    Any negatives in your experience with JM holsters?
    Lastly do you recall offhand what shirt you were wearing in this vid?
    Thank you sir

      @saintmichael753 Thank you.
      I also have that one and it does its job superbly with the typical high quality from JM. It is just a matter of personal preference.
      I also have a Tenicor Velo 4 and it is a VERY good holster that is well designed and made to the highest standards. I also like the Tenicor for its "wingless" designs. I have no experience with the others that you mentioned.

    I know this video is a few months old but it's extremely helpful, you've detailed things I wasn't able to find from anyone else, I've been looking to order this exact model from JM for the reasons you've stated but I'm trying to decide if I should opted for the extra tuck feature as I feel it would really help especially with a shorter slide, do you prefer the extra tuck on this model holster?

    • @sightlinestrategies
      @sightlinestrategies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. I try to make my vids to where the content stands the test of time in this fast paced world.
      It really depends on how much wedge and grip tuck that you want. For me, I prefer a larger shaped wedge to rotate the grip or a wedge with the extra tuck. That way I can get more concealment from the wedge like in the vid. Not everyone wants a large wedge.

    • @Daavi85
      @Daavi85 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sightlinestrategies thank you for your response and advice, I appreciate it, the issue I'm having is since it's a shorter slide "Shield plus" it tends to want to role over the top of my belt unlike longer slide pistols so to compensate my thinking was the extra tuck would help mitigate that by pushing the muzzle further away and pushing the grip in closer, I know everyone is different, I just wanted to get an idea.

      @@Daavi85 get the longest holster you can. That will alleviate the "keeling". Reach out to Tony and see if he can make you an AIWB XL. He may be able to make an extra long holster if he does not do so already.

    Would you suggest this type of holster for someone with a 30 inch waist? Or is it too thick for someone my size?

    • @sightlinestrategies
      @sightlinestrategies  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the gun and also your chest and shoulder thickness. I think with a thinner gun this style would be fine for most people. With a double stack you need to be mindful of other factors to create "drape" to hide a larger gun.

    • @sightlinestrategies
      @sightlinestrategies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Depends on your body type and where you plan to put the holster. Be forewarned that this type is a thicker holster on the belt line. If you are a skinnier dude I'd go with the wing claw option.
