When the great Saint was born in Ramadan he did not feed during the day. This news became very famous in the area that a child was born in the sacred household of the Ahle-Bayt in Ramadan that does not drink milk and observe the fast during the day.
There was confusion on the sighting of the new moon in Ramadan: so the people went to the mother of the great Saint and inquired if her exalted son drank milk in the morning. She replied in the negative so the people observed the first fast of Ramadan-al-Karim
