Tried an AZ and man that guitar was so amazing. I did not like the chunkiness of the neck at first but after 30 minutes of playing it, I got comfortable with it right away. And I love all of the sound that it makes. Just wow.
I hated the chunky neck! And I like a classic C on Fenders. This aint that! → It's obnoxiously chunky, imo! I chose the Charvel DK24 - and am ecstatic with my decision! It has been my #1 for 3 years now (already!). Don't buy sight unseen, Peeps! This is one guitar you HAVE to A-B (AZ Vs DK)

Listening the opening title of your video "Glitter" it's so good, i'm in "love" with this title.. , lead/melodical playing but also the "backing " composition and sound are awesome with great synth and bass sound, perfect package ! middle part a 1:30 is soaring as hell , 2:54 is epic ! guitar is beautiful hope , it's will be a signature model !
Congratulations Jack and well deserved! This guitar is so you! It's pretty much what I had been looking for years but could never find it! A 24 fret S type with a hottish humbucker in the bridge. The problem I found was the compromise in tone from the neck pickup when pushed closer to the bridge. I'd love to know your thoughts on this.

I personally only play Ibanez electrics, I have two. They are both RG's, one is a RG470 that I bought in 1994 and my other is a RGIB21 (Baritone) that I bought about 2 years ago. I want a third but I 'm interested in a 7 string RG and have it in a crazy progression metal tuning. Ibanez just plays fantastic as soon as you pick it up in my opinion. I've had Fender and something else but they didn't feel as natural in my hands.

Such a stunning guitar! This is exactly how I would spec an AZ I think, I have come close to buying the TQM1 model but I'm really used to 24 frets and I have a (potentially bad) habit of navigating in my minds eye by 'subtracting' from the 24th fret when I get into higher registers so when I play a 22 fret I make blunders up there fairly often. Also some great aesthetic choices here too. Phenomenal playing ofc! Another thing I'll say is that I have the same chair as you and I removed the armrests which makes it way more comfortable to play guitar on as you don't have to perch on the edge as much lol

That's awesome, and similar to a Warmoth guitar I built. Blue finished body (just like a matte light blue), splittable chrome humbucker in the bridge with a white single coil in the neck, white knobs and switch tip, 24 fret roasted maple neck with stainless steel frets, but I went for a Wilkinson vibrato and Hipshot locking tuners, both in a satin silver finish. So seeing your guitar, I greatly approve!
I have two questions about the trem... 1. How far sharp (scale degrees) can it go? For example on my JEM I can pull a note on the G string just over a 4th sharp. It's not quite a 5th, but more than a 4th. 2. How much "abuse" can it handle and still reliably return to pitch? Would I be able to do Dime/Vai/Satch-esque whammy acrobatics and have it stay in tune?
