Had a chance to pick one of these up @ retail back in the day @ the Cincinatti Open (in one of the products tents) but unfortunately passed. Nice to get the full back story & remember another fun & cool tennis commercial from the 90's. Yeah, that's crazy a major TV network refused to televise it, sigh. Thanks much for the post as always interesting.
Aloha, Yes, the head is definitely smaller, but what makes this racquet difficult to use is its standard 27" length. In other words, the sweetspot is not located where a standard racquet's sweetspot is positioned. However, with the Saber racquet (25" length), the sweetspot makes more sense. th-cam.com/video/IYaNodh_NtA/w-d-xo.html 🤙
I noticed you carry the new 2024 Prince Phantom 107G. Could you do a play test on it. Especially how it compares to the outgoing model. Other than a increase in the RA # of 1 on the TW site, there doesn’t seem to be much change at least stat wise. On the Tennisnerd TH-cam channel the guy play testing the racket gave way lower weight and swing weight figures for the racket. I don’t know if he got a bad racket or if he mixed up the specs with the Phantom 100 which he also tested.
Wow, you were paying attention! I just got them in right before I shot that scene. I was hoping people would notice it in the background! 👍 Tennis Warehouse provides strung specs, but it's important to note that the type and gauge of the string can influence these readings. For the sake of consistency, I'm assuming they're using the same string for all readings. Additionally, I'm speculating that Tennisnerd was referring to the unstrung specs if they were notably different. With that said, here are the unstrung spec readings on the previous and new models. 2020 Model (average) - 312 grams / RA 64 / Swingweight 293 2024 Model (demo) - 308 grams / RA 59 / Swingweight 292 I hope to do some playtests on the Phantom line of racquets, but I recently got a tennis (pickleball) elbow. We'll see; the good thing is that these frames are designed for COMFORT!!! 🤙
Aloha, I don't know if you saw this posted today, but in case you didn't, here's the review on the new Phantom 107G! th-cam.com/video/MCnHZpwHSBE/w-d-xo.html
At 27”, the sweet spot must be much further away from the butt of the racquet than that of standard 27” racquets. It would not be good to use it for training like one would with the Saber!
Aloha Gene, Yes, you are 100% correct! Although I've never hit with God's Racquet, I'm assuming I would probably whiff the first few attempts to hit the ball in the "high" sweet spot. 🤙
Wow how much are these worth?! I have one, but the end cap has a hole that was drilled for hanging. Frame/handle is perfect. Possiblity the same end cap as other prince rackets?
Aloha, I found prices ranging from $200-900 when I Googled it. The butt cap is probably 4-3/8. If you need the original replacement, I can sell you one for $4, but the shipping will run about $6 in the US. If you're interested, email me at amstringing@gmail.com.

Aloha, thanks for watching. I'm sure you must have guessed that God's racquet attracted the most attention in my tennis shop! 🤙
thx for sharing 🙏 looks like it's the predecessor of the @FunctionalTennis saber with a smaller head

@@AMstringingInteresting.. quite a difference in RA. I loved the 2020 model.

Gods racket should be kept in a safe. It’s probably irreplaceable.
Aloha, Yes, I hear you! It would have to be a clear safe. Otherwise, people won't notice it!! It makes a great conversation piece. 🤣
