Everytime I listen to this, I immagine the count's past as Edmond Dantes, the pain and everything he had to endure in prison and then his thirst for revenge grows bigger and bigger just as the song starts to get cooler x.x love this story, and the music fits it perfectly.
The type of thing sent chills down ur spine knowing the deed is done for what ego fame fortune in the end who did u really hurt and the result of this revenge no one is safe
Defiantly I mean this is Gonzo at its best what I really liked was the animation style really unique haha Yeah its been a year and I still feel the same way :)
I think I might be in that niche that prefers soundtracks that have only one or two themes that get rarely used than a lot of unrelated, overblown stuff.
For those of u who loved the anime, believe me, u'd jizz ur pants reading the novel. My personal favorite novel of all time. LONG LIVE EDMOND DANTES!! (ok not really, he's better off being human)

Safe and frightening at the same time, it is a truly great masterpiece, the legend of this music Did you know that the story of this anime is a true story of a man who lived in France in the last century of the eighties. This is the story.
Everytime I hear this I remember about Andrea's mother at his process, when she realized she had sex with her own son. I really felt sad for her, you know? First finding out that her child was alive, then remembering he screwed her. That's some really fucked up shit right there.
Andrea's a really screwed up dude, and I love how they emphasized that more in the show than in the original book. In the novel the worst he does is torture and murder his adoptive mother, but here he's just so appallingly disgusting. Took advantage of his mother's emotional instability (due, I might add, to the guilt of having thrown aside her illegitimate child Andrea himself) to freakin seduce her, and then raped his biological half-sister. Like seriously he is just such a wonderfully repulsive character.
Oh how I agree. I cried there, and I don't usually do that. Its because I knew he loved Albert, and for one to die for his friend, that's the greatest form of love.
