- Today we are checking out a really cool Super Mario World hack called "Mario's 100s Challenge" by JP32 which makes every single level in this 88 exit hack into a speedrun! Yes, you only have 100 seconds to complete each one of these crazy levels and most have multiple exits!

It wasn't in SMW. Maybe SMB3 or the All-Stars + SMW cart that came out later?

They weren't present in Super Mario World, but they were in Super Mario Bros. 3 (any version of it). I also thought they were called Fire Chomps, but a minor correction: it's actually Flame Chomps.

@@alicecallahan1746 It's possible you've seen a different Super Mario World ROM hack utilize the enemy, or possibly remembering the Fire Snake which might be more likely.

This is honestly a much better hack than I expected from the title. So many interesting powerups and enemies.
Id definitely watch more videos on this game. But I think that he gets the secret ending is with the A coins. If he gets all them maybe he gets the key for the secret ending. But thats just my idea.
Proof that Dave isn't even that bad: I checked this ROM hack out a while ago and I haven't even beaten level 2 (which in his words was a bit easy) plus I've got around 25 deaths just in that level.

Keep this going. BTW, this hack does a great job of mixing all of the super Mario Bros elements (Wall jumping, Power ups, enemies, music, world map set up/design, etc.)

How is no one commenting on the actual hack? The graphics are stunning and the way it combines all the classic Mario games into one and adds new moves is SO good! This has to be one of the best hacks I've seen. Please do a full play through DGR!
I love how much of the music was taken from Super Mario 3D World and New Super Mario Bros Wii. I heard Super Bell Hill and Double Cherry Pass, as well as NSMBWii's Castle Theme.

18:49 Dave, those enemies are Flame Chomps. They are similar to Bob-ombs in the fact that once they lose the fire on their tails, they self-destruct.

This hack is stunning. In this style, it'd make a wonderful vanilla game. Nintendo will be too busy trying to sue the developer though, rather than embracing his/her talent.

The fire thing is called a flame chomp and the patoi piranha plant is in world 6. The ice block chucking beetles are called buster beetles and the bats are called swoopers

We have been asking for a compilation of ALL (yes, Dave "ALL") DGR Guarantee moments, but i now like a compilation of Dave instantly forgetting the important stuff, haha!
Just after typing, he forgets about the A coins, and then asks how to get the bonus areas... which i'd guess would be those coins, yay!
I know it's not, but it COULD have been,a dn if it was, he'd skip it :P
No worries Dave, we like you, just pointing out a few flaws that may... no, *will* get you in SMM2 and other games!
Also, this may sound stupid, which i might be, but if you wanna try something like ducking at a white platform, it COULD help to kill the Boomerang Bro... nah, sounds too stupid!
I wanna see more SMM2 levels based on older games with some of the hacks their features!
And where you can go 2 ways, but only one is visible, while the other is a shortcut.
Like if Dave goes through it normal way, he gets some torture, but when he finds the secret (not a hidden block with vine straight to the end... it would be funny to have a vine getting him softlocked, making him die, "secret death"), it's much easier, but still not to short.
TLDR: Main way = very hard, easily found secret way = trap, harder to find secret way = easier to the end.

He more than likely will, but I think he's focusing on the main path first and then go back to all the secret and bonus levels after he beats it.
