    This was charming. The music was relaxing. The presenter seemed likable and companionable as a tour guide.

    I love the architecture, it's like kinda French, kinda Italian. And the food sounds really good!

      It’s such a fun combination! And a great place to find some Italian food while in France.

    Thank you a beautiful little video. I like your down-to-earth. common person manner of visiting this ritzy area. I hope that you both have a good life.

      Thank you so much! Southern France can be expensive and ritzy for sure. We were just amazed at all the beautiful sites and incredible beaches. Traveling during off season definitely helps keep costs lower though. Have a great day!

    This is such a beautiful video! My family on my mom's side is from Menton and we used to go there every year before the pandemic, so it was really nostalgic to see all the streets and shops!

      We’d love to hear about your trip and any other places nearby to visit. We want to go back and explore more. So many places to see so little time.

      @@AnyoneCanTravel You said it! The whole franco-italian coast is full of hidden pearls. I've always enjoyed going by car and visiting smaller towns - and should you get tired of the beach, the mountain villages are really close by and have a completely different vibe!

    Супер видео. Очень информативное. На видео город кажется достаточно безлюдным. Респект за купание!

    Wow it looks beautiful. Did you see anything scary at the cemetery? How far is Italy from there?

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nothing scary at the cemetery, but maybe if you visit at night it’ll be a little spookier.
      The Italian border is only a 10 minute drive and about 4km away, but the closest town Ventimiglia is about a 20 minute drive and 11km from Menton.

    Gorgeous video! Do you think it would be worth stating a couple of nights in Menton? Or better as a day trip? Thanks!

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Thank you 😊 I think you could spend another day exploring some of the museums and paid activities if they interest you. Menton could also be a good base camp for visiting Monaco, Nice and other French Riviera cities too. We just chose to stay in Nice instead. I don’t think there is much to keep you busy after two days though. Of course you can always relax on the beach if you’re looking for a quieter vacation.

    Absolutely stunning!! You know, if you put the name of these French cities in Google translate you'll get the proper pronunciation. Just saying 😌

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s such a beautiful place! That’s great to know. I didn’t realize Google translate was so reliable for that. Sometimes I use TH-cam to find pronunciation for cities I really don’t know how to pronounce. I tend to pronounce unfamiliar places as if they were Spanish since that’s my second language, but I’m trying to learn French so that is very helpful!

      I’m going to use that more for sure. Have a great trip and enjoy southern France it is absolutely amazing. September will be a great time to visit after the crowds but still nice weather.

    Please learn to pronounce things correctly when you travel (and make a video about it!). If anyone were to ask for directions to men-tin, you would not get there anytime soon. I'm always flabbergasted about how Americans have no shame in butchering pronunciation. It takes seconds to look it up, try saying it a few times, et voilà! Just listen! Oh la la! (in France this is an expression of disbelief, frustration, and irritation, NOT something naughty/sexy!!)

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your feedback. I will try and do better at that. I do speak English and Spanish fluently. French has been hard for me though and it is not my intention to butcher names, but I apologize if I offended you.
