I think Andy should have stood out more, in the two songs released. It seems as if he's not singing to his full potential. Just my personal view, but I think others can hear it.

ruka kain personally, i think he kinda smokes a little too much, and he doesnt quite have the pipes he used to. I think the tone of his voice is pretty spiffy though
Sounds like he's holding back a bit, I noticed this in Heart of Fire as well. Perhaps he's trying to sing more rather than have raspy vocals that may be damaging? :\ It kind of makes the songs sound less energised and powerful than as they should be... still a pretty cool song though.
The thing is.. This is Bob Rock's work.
He is making them into Black Veil Brides instead of "Andy & Co".

Chris Frostxx I wouldn't really say it's Bob Rock's work per say, as it's a collaboration of the band and the producer. And it sounds like more of a performance aspect, although they could have over-compressed the vocals, or written the melodies lower to suit Andy's vocal range (as it's harder to project your voice the lower you sing)? Not totally disagreeing with you though.
Just got home from seeing this live, and it was freaking amazing!! Andy's voice sounds amazing but it just has a certain feel when you hear him live! And the instrumentals are freaking amazing, the guitar solos were just wow. I can't describe how amazing today was.

I swear Andy's voice gets deeper and sexier with every album. I love how the band doesn't stick to one style of music also, every album was different from the last.

It's amazing to see their skill progress, with each new album their music improves, i have to admit their music seems to grow with their fans. This is probably one of my favorite songs so far, just for the way the drum, bass and guitar sound, it is amazing.

I remember seeing them back in Feb and May of 2018 and they opened with this song. Those will ALWAYS be the best two nights of my life. Stop hating and do it better if you say this is shit, because this song is difinitely not shit. Yes, they changed their style since Perfect Weapon and Knives and Pens but it's normal for a band to try out new styles. Every band does that. Live with it.
First of all, no member of the band asked you to shut out any and all criticisms for them. Also, it doesn't make sense for you to complain about people complaining; I can just as easily say that you shouldn't have come to the comments if you didn't want to find comments that deviate from your opinion in the slightest. I love the band but the fanbase does not know how to take criticism of the band and are more conservative about their opinions than the people they constantly complain about. Seeing them for the first time in 2 weeks in Exeter with my sister. Got an email today saying my tickets have been dispatched. Looking forward to hearing some of their older stuff and feel lucky to hear their new ones live. PS I'm 21 and my sister's a 26 year old mum, we're not 12 year old emos.
One hasn't lived until they see this live at Warped Tour I went last summer and during the "Ohhh, ohhhh, ohhhh, ohhh" part, the ENTIRE CROWD (parents, older people, Andy's granny backstage) just screamed it and my heart nearly exploded

Why do people keep saying Andy is the weakest part of the band? Like his voice is great. Yes it's basically always in the same pitch but you can hear how much he's trying to get better, and in my opinion it is. He's starting to hit different notes which is freaking awesome. Plus there are a lot of singers that always stay in the same pitch it's not just Andy. Oh and those of you saying the band would be better without Andy... He made this band. Without Andy this band wouldn't exist.

This song gets better and better each time I listen to it. Honestly. I remember the days listening to thier first album, and comparing it to now. They've changed a lot. But they remain my #1 favorite band.
I'm literally crying out of amazment and happiness...I cant wait for their new album to come out! Honestly, I am one of BVB's BIGGEST fans, and I am part of the BVBArmy. But I did not expect these songs to be this good (as good as there old songs, in my opinion I love there new, and old music) so this makes me even more exited for the album to come out!!!! and it comes out 2 days after my B-Day!!!!!!! There is a lot of conflict in the music and it has been subtly present since Wretched and Divine I love Andy he is a good singer and has a strong voice and I like the sound they put together but the two are just not melding much any more. I feel like Andy's voice is ether not as strong as it use to be ( idk I could be wrong but shit also dose happen when you Scream in your music) or he is just not the right sound for the kind of music they all want to make. IDK most of this is spit balling mixed in with the vibes I get form there music while I listen to it. I find myself listening to BVB less and less though.

BVB has improved so greatly! The instrumentals are great and Andy's voice is full of passion! As a singer myself, I don't think his voice is the best, but the passion in it just... chills! Love BVB and everything they do!
Man I wanna like this.. I really do. I mean.. I do like it. I just feel like there's something missing. Now I've always loved Andy's vocals.. But for some reason they sound like.. Almost nasally in these two songs.. Like he's struggling to hit these higher notes.. Ether way, still a big fan, just bring open minded. I'm sure I'll still love the album. Anyone feel the same way?

I'm not joining the BVB army, I think the concept of a fan base calling itself an army was annoying when Kiss did it in the 80's. But that said, musically this band seems to have become a lot more competent the last I heard them (Knives and Pens era). Still have bad lyrics though.
