Heike come back!!!! She has the whole package. Her vocal style, her high emotional performance, every part of her presence is draconian. I don't think anyone fits better.
Have you ever thought about how strange it would be if the now days Draconian had Lisa singing any songs of the Sovran album? Lisa and Heike are both amazing vocalists, but with different styles
Remember a little, yes, but I find Heike's voice more mesmerizing, it's a little less high-pitched than Sharon's voice perfectly matches Draconian, it made me addicted to the band again after some time without listening.
Not just in this performance! I heard lots of parallels between Heike and Sharon all throughout the Sovran album. Which is great, because i adore both of their ethereal voices!
The song is a masterpiece indeed but sadly miss Langhans is not capable to measure up with Lisa in this. Her voice is feeble when it should be stronger, sometimes she's too "absorbed" by the song spirit (that would be a good thing if her voice wasn't affected by that). She also missed the lyrics twice (at least).
I do apologize. My voice is really not a live-music voice. Pushing a soft voice over loud music is often a recipe for disaster. But, I get better with experience no doubt. However, I agree. This song was really made for Lisa's register :) I hope you can forgive it. Thank you for commenting.

Dear Ms Langhans, ich weiss nicht was soll das bedeuten, dass ich so traurig bin. Anyway, as I am just a mediocre conoisseur with no ambtition at criticism, I would have just a humble suggestion: first, I think your voice colour is much more suitable to this music genre than Lisa's; the Sovran album shows it well for me in deep tremolos and arpeggio-like passage work, hence I would suggest that if you sing this particular composition, do it in at a lower pitch which would suit you better - you would not have to imitate Lisa (too operatic for me by the way), you would not have to risk breaking your voice, and, most importantly, you would do it your own way. Please, don't be afraid doing so.
