Last T-bills :3.7% ! Later this mth, i will use cpf OA 2 buy some again. I will buy a bit more of SSB b4 26th july . Every 6 mth, collect some safe pocket $ . Watch out Powell 's remarks on FOMC meeting on end July . Some guru predict 25 basis cut in mid Sep !😊 😊
@@ZEN_X999 of course ! I used SA to buy some T-bills in last Dec for " cpf shielding" . Now can only earn 6 mths SA rate as next Jan my SA will be close. 😅
Hsbc ega stil doing up to 4.6%. The uob 4% and ocbc one account 4.6%. But all require some salary deposit and card spending yet still worthwhile to hold on for cash.
UOB one and OCBC 360 EIR is actually 3%+ only and its at the tiers with big amounts. For small amounts cant reach. And for friends with super big amounts, there are caps also to the rate earned. Hope it explains
Hi Josh, for Choc Finance even though 4.2% interest is guranteed, but capital is not guranteed right and subject to market fluctuations?? I saw disclaimer saying this.
Hi, the underlying fund can fluctuate but they will top up to 4.2% return (capital + interest). If funds do more than the 4.2% they keep the extra returns.

Highest 4.2% probably chocolate finance but only last till december😢
yes indeed
Capital guaranteed?
@tomwong1517 not capital guaranteed, only the 4.2% interest is guaranteed by them.
Great sharing. Thanks.
quick qn, Josh,
if Fed interests rates changes, how significant will it affect the short term duration bond funds?
Little change actually. It still follows general trend, if rates go down, bond price goes up and vice versa

You forgot to mention SCB esaver account 3.5% with no lock in for deposit balance up to $2m
It has requirements like incremental balance
BoC also has USD fixed at 4.85%… Citi same USD 4.2%
That’s USD. With forex volatility 👌🏻
Any track record of your designed solution
Fund factsheets in my landing page will have them.
Strategy and expectations will be discussed in during the meeting =)
Chocolate finance - hey Josh, do you know when they tabulate the daily AUM? For example Mari Bank is 12am everyday.
No idea yet. Not a user currently. But doesn’t really matter coz they pay u the 4.2% guaranteed. More or less they take the risk
Yes 12am, I have been using choc finance.
Why not corporate bonds ?
If wholesale, per piece may present concentration risk. Bond funds have duration risk
Josh I think a video admitting your bad call regarding sg banks is due.
In the game of making decisions, there will be many right and wrong ones
Sometimes it’s just not right yet. Now may be finally your time to slowly starting buying. Hope you’ve waited patiently 👌🏻
cimb is still very dated!
Oops lol
Cimb 🤔
Barely keeping up with inflation
Let's go crazy and dump into equity 😂😂😂
Signs of market exuberance 🤣
Hi Josh.
What is your take on Astrea 8 bond 4%- 4.5% higher than bank
Not bad. Previous astrea bond investors had a good experience
+1
Singlife endowment 2 yrs @3.4%pa
Starting tmr
Huat ah!
If T bill can give more than 3.4% for yearly interest, why lock in for 2 yrs and u can't use it for 2 yrs? Pls advise. Cheers.
How do you compare all these with ibkr, moomoo providing 4.8 % plus these days?
IBKR is on USD which has foreign volatility. Moomoos is a promo period offer
