Omg you're amazing! He didn't hit that high note, it didn't make this less IMPRESSIVE tho! Couldn't help but crying at the end. Such a sweet voice, sounds like an angel. Well done!
That is how you do a cover justice. Wow, one of my favorite songs from the movie and no one I have found so far did it justice....until I clicked on this video. Great job everyone.
I'm glad I found this before this video explodes. This is the best cover from "From Now On" I've seen so far. It's got the talent and more importantly captures the spirit. Well done!
This was amazing, but you should check out the same song by Voices on Broadway! Search for SR Photography, then look under "videos". They are a high school choir and completely awesome as well !!
Hi! This video was supposed to really be mainly viewed by the people attended. This song itself was the surprise ending at the end of the performance- I put it in the title to help those who attended find it with more clarity. (: thanks for the kind words!
I know your comment was 2 years ago but I noticed no one replied. I'm a former student! The soloist is a beloved professor (now Dean of Music) at our school, and at 1:41 he revealed himself to be the soloist by putting on a jacket and top hat similar to the one Hugh Jackman wears in The Greatest Showman.
I saw the sun begin to dim And felt that winter wind blow cold A man learns who is there for him When the glitter fades and the walls won't hold 'Cause from then, rubble What remains Can only be what's true If all was lost There's more I gained 'Cause it led me back To you From now on These eyes will not be blinded by the lights From now on What's waited 'til tomorrow starts tonight Tonight Let this promise in me start Like an anthem in my heart From now on From now on I drank champagne with kings and queens The politicians praised my name But those are someone else's dreams The pitfalls of the man I became For years and years I chased their cheers The crazy speed of always needing more But when I stop And see you here I remember who all this was for And from now on These eyes will not be blinded by the lights From now on What's waited 'til tomorrow starts tonight It starts tonight And let this promise in me start Like an anthem in my heart From now on From now on From now on And we will come back home And we will come back home Home, again! Unfortunately, no- this was actually just kind of done on a whim! We all knew the song very well and so the weekend before we decided to surprise the audience and whipped it together just by hearing parts.
Good voice in the soloist, however a group can't do a song like this and just ignore the crescendo phrasing, totally took away from the song. To the soloist, if you do this song in the future, you must go up to the A4 - you can do it. It doesn't matter if one is sick, scared, or not in great voice, those notes are a must in a song like this.
I rather enjoyed it. Except for the 3 at 2:32 that decided to stand up and block the vision of the people behind them. I am all for supporting .. but if no one else is standing and are sitting to let everyone else watch.... Don't be that person that stands up and blocks other people then start waving your hands too.
The background chorus singers could have been a touch louder but that was a freakin' awesome performance! Broadway worthy!!!
Indeed- this video was intended for personal use, or else I would’ve given the person recording something other than an android. 😂🤷🏼♀️
On broadway they'd be mic'd
@@savannahreid8625 LOL better than apple...
Lol I thought they had prerecorded hugh he sounds just like him
I wish my choir had done fun stuff like this. We had to hype ourselves up for LATIN. That was a feat.
He sounded just like Hugh!
Yep
I thought HE WAS Hugh!
I thought it was Hugh's voice (recording) at the first time 😂
Thanks! We worked hard to do it justice. He is the head of our department and is an amazing singer!
this is one of the best cover of this song!! great job!!
Omg you're amazing! He didn't hit that high note, it didn't make this less IMPRESSIVE tho! Couldn't help but crying at the end. Such a sweet voice, sounds like an angel. Well done!
I would love to be in a choir like this. 💕

This was perfect. I love the ending of this song.
i love the fact that the public is also singing along haha loved it so much. Great job
I'm glad I found this before this video explodes. This is the best cover from "From Now On" I've seen so far. It's got the talent and more importantly captures the spirit. Well done!
I would be thrilled if it exploded!
@@savannahreid8625 lol your a bit late on the reply but yeah true
Well said man

Truly one od the best covers of this song I've ever heard, I would definitely cry if I was in the audience
Literally sobbing 😭
Almost in tears here. Best performance I’ve hear of it. Wish I could have been there
Thanks for the goosebumps
This is so beautiful!!! Wish I could be there
These guys deserve a packed house for this, well done!
That was an awesome ending!
He DID sound jus like Hugh! But how I wish he hit that high note! Ending great 2!! Although I thought Hugh was gonna pop out or something lol
I'm not familiar with this chorus, What was the surprise ending?
There was no surprise ending lol.... I'm not sure why they made it seem there was
@@robertpalatsky5059 she means 3:04 and 4:40. The "on" is higher then the "now" and they use a crescendo (raising volume) in the original song

@@robertpalatsky5059probably wasn’t listed that they would be doing the song.

To have been there, it must have been awesome.

Me too
Where did these amazing singers come from?
04:29 the girl's got enthusiasm. I love it
Thanks! 🤣
Why was everyone cheering at 1:41? I’m actually blind so I don’t know if anything visual happened.

Ok cameraman sing!!!
I saw the sun begin to dim
And felt that winter wind blow cold
A man learns who is there for him
When the glitter fades and the walls won't hold
'Cause from then, rubble
What remains
Can only be what's true
If all was lost
There's more I gained
'Cause it led me back
To you
From now on
These eyes will not be blinded by the lights
From now on
What's waited 'til tomorrow starts tonight
Tonight
Let this promise in me start
Like an anthem in my heart
From now on
From now on
I drank champagne with kings and queens
The politicians praised my name
But those are someone else's dreams
The pitfalls of the man I became
For years and years
I chased their cheers
The crazy speed of always needing more
But when I stop
And see you here
I remember who all this was for
And from now on
These eyes will not be blinded by the lights
From now on
What's waited 'til tomorrow starts tonight
It starts tonight
And let this promise in me start
Like an anthem in my heart
From now on
From now on
From now on
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
(From now on!)
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home (Yes)
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
From now on
These eyes will not be blinded by the lights!
From now on!
What's waited 'til tomorrow starts tonight!

Do you have this arrangement?
Unfortunately, no- this was actually just kind of done on a whim! We all knew the song very well and so the weekend before we decided to surprise the audience and whipped it together just by hearing parts.
Lead singer needs to just hold onto each note a bit longer
He sounds like Hugh...
And your profile picture is beautiful your a pretty woman
Why oh why would they clap on 1 and 3? This ain't no Radetzky march 😣😕
But overall great performance.
lol

Who else clicked off at 3:00 ? Kinda disappointing that he couldn’t hit that note.
The chorus fine, the singer awful, he just can't sing on the beat
