Im from Greece. I just started learning Spanish and these lectures were supposed to be a supportive method to my main classes. I think its gonna be the other way round.
i love these videos so much. my papi was a native speaker but passed when i was young so i only know a kid's level of spanish. im engaged to a white canadian guy who doesnt know any spanish at all and i've been wanting to teach him so he can meet my padrinos and understand them a bit better. this is soooo useful for me to help teach him because some of these things i wouldnt even think to explain as it seems like second nature, and other parts help fill in the gaps of my own lack of knowledge with spanish. for example, the numbers video you mentioned "deici-" is essentially "diez y" put together. id never even thought of it that way but it is so helpful for someone who isnt used to the way numbers work in spanish!
I have come back to this lesson again after the lesson about SER. U mentioned that this formula will be useful in the future. Now I got. Thank you very much for free lesson my man on the grounds that, there is no any good Spanish teacher in our city like u. OMG! I can't describe my feelings . I appreciate your help

I can still remember that they are below the line but I can maintain the subject focus of my mind between the informal and the formal, and don't need to switch away to 3rd person then switch back.

A lot late on the reply but the book I'm learning from entirely skips tú and vosotros. But I find learning thorough Dr Evans' methods to be far easier than through the book. But to answer your question, you can skip both of those in the middle section if you wish.

I'm a native Spanish speaker and I should say this video is pretty helpful for those who want to learn Spanish, though I must say that I learned it in a different way: Yo Tú Él/ella Nosotros Vosotros Ustedes Ellos/ellas _Usted_ was always taught as formal and it never went in the chart, also, we learned _vosotros,_ even though we don't use it in my country.

just wanna share this awesome similarity between Arabic and Spanish, in Arabic you say أستاذ which means Mr. and you say it to your teacher or someone you respect and it sounds like "Ostaaz" in Spanish "Ostaad" is like Mr. too and you say it to someone you respect Spanish has so many similarities with Arabic and I'm gonna mention the ones that I notice, since I'm not a linguistics student 😅

So, when you're on vacation; Everyone is basically a stranger, (Hotel personal, taxi driver, food vendor, people selling excursions etc) So I take it you would use "USTED" considering no one is a friend...Correct????

This excellent book will give you answers how to correctly learn a foreign language with a minimum of your time and effort.
