It was over before I knew it was going to be made. Though I have stopped backing KS projects, I probably would have backed this behemoth of a game. The trouble is, I don't have a table big enough or a room big enough for the table. Actually, maybe a different house, would be a good idea. The Rick Barber map artwork is the best ever in a civil war game. Herman Luttman made the game system, I think very good and playable. If flying pig has the new version in stock, at some point, I will likely try to get a copy. What I would like to see in a future version of this game, is a modular board layout system. This would require a different box size, but ultimately the idea would be to allow the entire map to be in pieces, each segment would be a bit less than half the size of a card table top and fold in half. They would be labeled alphabetically. Depending on the scenario, you could put together the necessary board segments. This would allow the player to focus better on playing the game in a manageable way. Keep in mind, during the civil war, it was not possible to see every part of a battlefield at one time. So to play the game battles in smaller chunks, I think, would make a better game.
Thanks for the videos - I have subscribed and plan to back kickstarter.

We do have the new game in stock. I love the Rick Barber art as well. That is a great point with the map size, I will relay the idea. Thanks!
