I never thought that there would be a whole group of people so interested in sirens.
Although I don’t understand their interest in sirens, a lot of people wouldn’t understand my interest in suspension systems on cars.
I find it funny that we can be incredibly interested in such random things, must be a nice hobby though! :)
I mean I have an interest in building radios from random stuff
I can't believe I just sat here and watched this entire video. I guess it just brought back so many memories of my childhood hearing these things blasting off every Saturday at noon. It's kind of a "creepy cool" sound... if that even makes any sense.
Watch out with those things!
You might lure SIRENHEAD!!
You might anger the siren gods using that phrase! Careful!
The staff of the event seemed to have overestimated the age of that M lol. It's a later pre-1928. Looks great too, Frankie's a beast at restoring his sirens
Nice video 🤘
The Whelen at 17:06 with the reverb sounds amazing. The 1000 looked SO loud even when spooling down, and that Alertronic with the descending and ascending whoops was really interesting, proper rave siren! Thanks for videoing all of this. Next time you’ll need a mic with a higher tolerance to 140 dB ;)
5:17 sounds like the world’s most overpowered car alarm 😂😂😂
It’s been a real hot minute since since I’ve found myself watching anything siren related, but that V4 powered Mobil-Directo from the thumbnail grabbed my immediate attention
It was nice meeting you, hope to see you again at the next SirenCon.
How to piss off your neighbors 101 xD
I’d probably get another fine from my HOA for doing this. Only one way to find out.
I have discovered yet another tism that I can only aspire to be as cool as
They finally found something louder than Reed Timmer during a tornado 😂😂😅
I can't believe I missed this year's SirenCon, though it's my fault for not spending the months leading up to it paying attention to the dates. Next year I'll finally make a trip. I always enjoy seeing the videos afterwards, knowing there's other people into this hobby and this looks like a fun time. Thanks for uploading!
31:39 yeah just plugging one ear with your finger is a great idea.
I said out loud "these kids are gonna be completely deaf by 21". I've done some dumb stuff in my day so I not judging them.
@@mfThumpMuch less tinnitus and more like eleven-itis. It's to the point where their wives can hear their ears ringing.
I have NOT seen you in a long while, not ever since I was 14-
I DID NOT EXPECT YOU TO BE IN THIS SIREN CON, KUDOS GOOMAN!! THIS IS SOME AMAZING STUFF!!
my ears are fucked up now xD
46:11 These have got to be one of the coolest.
Wow thabks for sharing this with the world ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Time to join a new interesting hobby group
Since I live with severe weather in Wisconsin I can appreciate how advanced we have become with early warning systems, but it still needs improvement. There are places just here in the United States that still don’t have any warning systems in their communities. That’s really sad when you think how modernization works. Just because there are some people that are less fortunate than others doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be warned too in the case of danger. It shouldn’t even be a political issue either. Many of the older versions of sirens were used for various reasons. And tones were also common to change depending on the crisis. So you might find a higher pitched sound for tornado warnings, another for air raid warning, a nuclear attack, a house fire, a tsunami or an earthquake; one siren did it all. As a civil servant in the community it was our responsibility to help the people get to a safe fallout shelter. A lot of older schools and other buildings had fallout shelters. I’m fearful that we are going to be hearing a lot more sirens in the next few months
I'm glad this convention is being hosted outdoors... lmao
Can't even imagine what this would be like inside a typical convention center 😆
I can only imagine the next HOA meeting! 😂
A decibel meter would be great to get a sense of how loud they are! 32:45 brings back memories!
Great video. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day.
o0o0o0o! looks like fun!! :3
great video! ^w^
Awesome!
This is humbling to watch.
it's perhaps more humiliating to say that we clicked on this video
That 3T22 sounds so healthy it could break the sound barrier!
I'd go to this if it was closer!
Once I've turned on my Komatsu D355A bulldozer, 2500 kW Triton Diesel Generator TP-C2500-T1-C-60, and Republic F-84H Thunderscreech and feel that it's still too quiet around my house, I play this video on my iPhone.
To hard to put all the names, thanks for putting me in there though
Please look after your hearing! This is all cool and such until your 60 with tenitus.
Other than that, Awesome sirens :)
at 4:01 kids are going MOM Siren head is coming run
The squirrel in the tree nearby that ignored the notice from his local council: "..."
Well done an event I MUST ATTEND before I die.
the eows sounds like an ice cream truck😂
WOW !!!
Awesomeeee🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
FINALLY the ASC RM-130 is tested.
Not sure how I ended up here.
hell yeah
A db meter reading would be nice although it would probably just be pegged out.
People in the woods are freaking out. “What’s that sound?”…..😂😂
It seems like the alerttronic was on a occulator and not have those rings that allow the siren to rotate without snapping wires
@@seanjuth I think that model is not as common as the ones with those rings that allow the siren to rotate full 360 degrees
The 1000 in attack sounds amazing ngl
Mind you, most of these should be amast 500-1000+ foot/meter towers for best hearing experience.
AAHHHH EOWS SIREN MY FAVV
Sorry i got in the way of the 1003 lol i was just really happy
Would this location let us use it for car audio shows?
It’s a Boy Scouts camp, so probably not. The parking lots aren’t that big either
Good idea those alarms are gonna be coming in handy very soon. Did anyone know that Russian ICBM subs are off the coast of Florida right now?
I kinda doubt the alarms will be coming in handy despite the ongoing war threats globally. However it would be morbidly hilarious seeing siren owners go "our day has come" in the midst of it, and we get to hear tons of antique sirens across the country.
war mongerer, look at your military
as if anyone wanted to try shit with the fucking US of A
With a little audio editing you can make some real cool ring tones
i never knew this exsisted within are world a siren convention, i thought the last known con was like Furry cons
I have watched a couple of videos of that P50 and its unfortunate demise.
Why would you go to a siren con and not bring your own ear protection
The B&N Mobil Directo was originally a gas powered siren, but some are still active running on a conversion to electricity instead of gas.
you should tell that to everyone who calls the Mobil Directo BN52 "gas powered Mobil Directo"
0:01 eowls 612

WAIT WHO BROUGHT A P-50
@@benjaminbrown3939 man I saw that- from what I hear, the chopper didn’t entirely explode, but a section broke off, jammed the chopper, and seized the motor in an instant
Time to suit up in my siren sona suit
How much decibels do some of these sirens reach?
The Federal 500 at the end measured 133 dBC when it was facing us. I don’t have a dB meter so I can’t say for certain the rest of the lineup. The Thunderbolt 1000 was definitely the loudest siren there this year
Why do some of the staff not wear ear protection?
@@goomanhlr5697 Some of them probably had that, but I have still seen some of them putting their fingers in their ears.
You can hear the dial up going into them
just WI things
Hang on who brought the alerter
finally a good con
why is this in my recommended, also might be nice to have a mic further away so it doesn't peak and distort as much.
Oh i so need the first one lol
The eows music relaxing sleep

Is that the Fedelcode from Ironton Missouri?
Update: it is not

theres a siren con? what?
Après avoir regardé toute la vidéo je me dit: Oui ok, je suis peut-être autiste. 😃
32:26 this is st Paul 1000t
The guy in the blue shirt stupid? When his health insurance sees this, his hearing claim, will say piss off !The same for the orange shirt !
Dont you ever frighten the neabour or people around hearing this worrying there a nuke coming Lol
The camp is located a few miles away from the city so they shouldn’t be too loud
giving what golwing o0n in russa and ukrane the sound that is making is hard braking to me and it let me fink of deafe but at the same time make me happy that this has be invented and is stil to this day 1 of the sounds that every one knows 12:27

The one for 2025 isn’t scheduled yet, but keep your eye out in the coming months for updates. They have a Facebook group as well
