I watched this yesterday after trying everything to make my Pacer move. Today i found a tear in the diaphragm and duct taped it (stores closed due to lockdown so i couldn't buy a new one) and it's now working. So i just spent some time to find your video again so that i can thank you. Thanks so much! Take care and stay safe.
Thank you for all your great videos, I learned a lot from you. I have one issue where I really can't find a solution to it. I have a G2 and it stopped working this year. It works if I gently unscrew the nut on the body and pull the part little further and hold it like that. When I screw the assembly back it stops again. I have no clue what the issue is or if it will be resolved if I replace the diaphragm or any other parts. Thank you!
I was going to do a video on this until Zodiac decided to discontinue the G2. There is a plastic ring inside that wears off. You can usually pull it up with the white extension hose when you remove it. It's the grey compression ring wearing out: #W74000
Just ordered the piece and will keep you posted! I also have another problem not a subject to this video but I have some weird organic brown-greenish color developed on the bottom of my inground pool with vinyl. It does not go away with brushing and I tried the lime juice to see if it is iron but didnt come out. It does fade away when I backwash the filter and do regular maintenance still there at the end of the day and seems like spreading. Searched everywhere but was not able to find a solution, do you happen to have any idea? Thank you!

Great video! Fixed my clog. Never would have guessed I had a clog way up the diaphragm. Thanks!
