Those who are complaining about the wheels, agreed they don't look as good as other wheels, but these setup will be so so comfortable on Indian roads.

530LI, 2ltr engine with 258 hp and 12hp approx from the 48kw watt motor. And it will be only available in PETROL

These tyres will be good for indian roads
Those wheels and tyres are tubeless, earlier it was RFT and cause of that it was a bit stiff. Now you get more comfortable drive
New 5 series available only in 2 litre engine options well done BMW👏.

BMW usually makes cars which are meant to have more aggressive stance compared to the subtleness of the Mercs. But this time i guess the tables might have turned.

Not at all i to the design language BMW is going for. The headlights, the tail lamps, too boxy, 7Series still felt like an attempt to touch Rolls Royce but this one is socially awkward at best.
And how cant you kill something as handsome as the 6 GT with something like this.

BMW cars are just getting uglier and uglier. BMW Designers need to be fired. Wheels got smaller, removed sunshades. What is happening to them? this car looks more like a toyota camry.

They launched the same product as in other international markets, but with key features removed… bigger wheels, sun blinds, tv screen only for China 🤷🏻

True. Will be very honest with you, the 640d xDrive(available internationally) was my dream car, was quite disappointed that we got the 630d with RWD. Nevertheless, we actually got one.🤭

One of the worst bmw models i ever came through in my life. Bad design, very generic interior and no rear blinds and those alloys they are worse than steel wheels. Anyone looking for a bmw should grab the gorgeous current gen 5 series before they go out.

No match for the E class. Even Audi and Volvo beats it in design.
The design is quite debatable, but with long wheelbase specially when the main focus is on the rear seat, some luxuries like rear sun blinds should have been provided, considering the rising heat and the price it will be offered at. But most definitely it will be a fun to drive, hope they tune the B48 better in this.
Those alloy wheels don't suit the car at all.
both BMW & Mercedes Benz should offer the standard wheelbase variants of the E-Class & 5-Series . . . that'll sell parallely to the LWB variants . . .
Overall FAIL! To many missing features:
1.) No Engine Insulation
2.) No openable Sunroof
3.) No rear Sunshades
4.) No Reclining rear seats
5.) No Boot access
6.) No Split folding seats
7.) No wattet cubby driver side
8.) No Seat Pockets
9.) Many other small small features missing.
Going to book E Class soon, this one is a wasted oppertunity.
I’m pretty sure E class gonna delete the 5 series from the market once it released.
merc is more classy looking this is like a tuned down version of luxury and if mercedes has hyperscreen then its 🔥
2:24 18inch wheels are a positive. Look at those thick pirelli tyres. Perfect to soak those potholes. 19inch wheels will have low profile tyres which are a disaster for our roads
They have killed DRL, from squircle (Square+Circle) to semi circle to quarter circle, in 3 series it is nearly vanished. They should have given choice for R 19 as well the way they provide in Europe
It's sad to see European Brands Like BMW and Mercedes moving away from their elegant designs and making Cars that look more and more Chinese as the days roll by. Can't help it since China is their biggest market. Feels like an End of An Era when cars used to be designed beautifully.
The exterior looks really bad ! BMW is not supposed to be like this. They have lost their identity of what they were known for by making it backseat focused.

BMW is going away from ultimate driving machine focus. Nothing related to engine, transmission and suspension is mentioned in the video. Tyre size is disappointing.

We need more and more German cars on new Indian Roads instead of some Chinese cars.
I believe Landrover cars are the best in both looks and performance. I was the owner of 5 series for 7 years and now I own a Rangerover. I am still a fan of Bmw but I think it's moving away from its core USP while RANGEROVER is a different beast all together. Be it looks or performance Rangerover is just a different machine.

Usually, when cars get a longer wheelbase they also improve in looks.
Not so here.
I have zero problems with the new 5's grille or fascia (I think those complaining are being overdramatic or just want to go back to the horrible 1950's) but in terms of the proportions of the rest of the body I think I prefer the SWB to the LWB.
The rear cabin here was stretched just a little too much and neither the window trim, the awkwardly angular roof nor the inelegant tumble home help.
PS. I agree the 18s are too small for this car.

Not ugly per se, but it's quite obviously a design downgrade from the G30. Not digging this departure from the quintessential BMW. But of course it is going to sell like hot cakes nevertheless

Rear seat focused LWB car with no sunshades for a country like India! Even 15 lakh cars have them now. Good enough to cut down the sales by an half.
