Great Video Chris.. Thanks a lot for mentioning SluggFishing!!
You bet! The shop is great and I’m excited to go back again and again! Cheers!
You got the plane at 14:15 ! Scared the crap out of me sitting in my boat a few hundred yards from you... Jig bite was on fire that day!
I know right! That was crazy stuff. Glad you got some. Cheers!
Sweet! I saw you that day just a minute after you launched. I should have said hi but I was way to focused launching the boat. It looks like you had a great day though!
I thought I saw you too! It was a fun day for sure.
Great video! I've been a long skunk streak but at least others are catching!
I know the feeling for sure. Thanks for watching.
Great video Chris!
Thanks for watching!
Another great video Chris. My first "real" bass I ever caught was at El Cap. My dad would always take me out to walk the bank in the morning. It was in 1995 or 96 right down by the steps. Tons of submerged boulders. I was kinda starting to get some info and throwing stuff that would actually get bit. It was before the sun came up about grey light, I was using a 4 inch chocolate purple vein curly tail texas rigged. I brought it up on top of a submerged boulder and drug it off, when it fell off I got slammed. It was like the one you described, about 12 inch bass but it was so rad. If you can't already tell, I remember it really well. My dad got a good picture. I stuck with texas rigged chocolate blue or purple veins and split shotted reapers for a year or two after that, I could always go out and get 3-4 fish in the mornings. That bass got me addicted.
That is awesome! Thanks for sharing the memory. That is exactly what I’m talking about. Cheers and thanks for watching!
Have you ever seen the clandestine helicopter meetings in the back of el cap? Definitely landing on native land and looking ultra shady.
Good upload.
I haven’t spent much time in the back. Harder to get there in a tube. It doesn’t surprise me though. Thanks for watching.
Love the Intro!
Hey thanks for watching!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Nice. I got by with two and Alex eeked one out at the end of the day for his first winter bass ever.
The jig bite was tough. Kept losing them in rocks but was a good day and great company.
That mocha some thing new looked tasty.
Nice video 👍🏻
Nice!! Thanks for watching and also chatting out there on the water. The beer was amazing! Check it out for sure. Cheers!
Awesome video dude!!
Thanks! It was fun to make and I’m glad you enjoyed it. Cheers!
Always good stuff Chris, keep it up 🤌.
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching.
Wow, came back to watch the second half of the video and saw the plane. That is a T-6 texan.
I remember years ago i was fishing either El Cap or San V and i saw a b-17 flying above. Absolutely beautiful
Thanks for watching and for the ID!
That is awesome! I’m sure that was a very cool experience. Thanks for watching and sharing.
My guess would be a Douglas TBD Devastator torpedo bomber
Thanks for checking out the video. I’ve heard multiple different ideas on that. It’s a cool discussion. Cheers!
What if you're a Wigwam, A TeePee AND a Tent??
Dude! But then it would be like…whoa.
