I understand where you're coming from, if someone shows up to your house unwelcome and threatens your life you should be able to defend yourself, but what Boogie done was extremely reckless. There was a multitude of other ways he could've handled that situation, like stay inside of his home and call the police and use his gun on Frank as a last resort, but instead he decided to shoot a bullet in the sky and endanger everyone in his neighborhood. I'm surprised that he didn't have to do jail time or at the very least pay a fine after the stunt that he pulled.
And you do also realise that firing a bullet in the sky in a public setting also puts Boogie in the wrong? He could've taken an innocent life. I also said that he could've stayed inside and call the police, and in the VERY off chance that Frank felt like trying to break in he could've used the pistol on HIM. Like I said, I see nothing wrong with defending yourself from someone threatening your life (even though Frank was unarmed and not intimidating at all) but I do have a problem with him endangering other people when he clearly never needed to. He never had to fire a warning shot. He could have just locked his doors and windows and tell him that he was armed and was calling the police.
