That's awesome to hear, right on! I'd love to see what Alaska is like in the summer months, would have been nice to get a few less days of rain 😆 😘. Appreciate the kind words and support, thank you!
I have lived up here for thirty years now in Alaska and still cant get enough of it to the point i watch videos like this one when I’m not able to get out and love seeing people that get to see Alaska for the first time and love taking people around to see this great state
You certainly live in an incredible place! We absolutely loved our time in Alaska and already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for the support!
Picking up others trash is appreciated. Thank you . I love that you are traveling with your mom. I hope my son always travels with me too. Beautiful footage.
Thank you for the support and kind words! We always try to leave areas better than we find them and showcase how everyone can help make a positive impact. I love traveling with Mom, she's all about these kinds of trips and best part is ensuring we have great meals each day! 😊 Hope your summer travels are going well!
Thank you very much for the kind words! Alaska was such an incredible trip with endless beautiful scenery, made my job capturing it on camera relatively easy 😉
I've been binging on a lot of Alaska videos lately and I'd have to say, yours was the best! Scenery, drone, narration, the last outro, and camp mom won me over! You have earned a suscriber.
Thanks for watching! Alaska Overlander is a fantastic company that will ensure you're taken care every step of the way. Have fun on your trip up there and safe travels! 🙌
Wow man what an incredible series. Even more importantly that looked like such an incredible journey to share with your mom. Really loved what she said at the end. Stoked for you and all the memories that were made. This is what it’s all about 👏.
Thank you so much! Couldn't have said it better, this trip was truly one of a kind with all the memories made up there in Alaska. Words cannot express how much we enjoyed our visit and for me being able to share that with her. Already looking forward to another visit up there but we'll see where 2023 takes up next 😉 👍
Wow, what a awesome series! Your Dad would have been proud of what you and your Mom achieved in such a short period of time. And so beautifully documented! Your story telling and editing skills are some of the best. It's evident you put a great deal of time, energy and effort into your productions. You made some great memories with your Mom, and most definitely fullfilled your promises. And to do it with your Mom at your side, driving her own vehicle on those roads and trails, crossing rivers, and setting up her own tent as well. She's a special Lady for sure. You have inspired this old Canadian to venture north in the not so distant future. Well done Michael, you just gained a new subscriber/follower.
Haha, thank you for the binge watch! Hopefully over time we'll continue to grow our audience base though I'm happy with where we've come so far! Appreciate the support!
Michael, what a trip, dude. Finally got to finish watching this series. Such a cool story and a special way to honor your dad. I bet being there was pretty surreal. Hope you’re doing well, man!
This video (and series) was nothing short of incredible. Super cool that you were able to share this entire experience with you mom too. Amazing work as always!
Sincerely appreciate, thank you so much!! Always love spending time with mom on trips like this. Even more special we were able to take on Alaska together for the first time. Helps she throws down on meals so can't beat that... 😉 👍

Absolutely loved your Alaska Overlanding series and looking forward to more overloading videos back home in Washington! Safe travels Michael and happy holidays to you and your mom!
Thank you very much for the support! Anxious to start getting back out here in WA, especially with our current winter conditions... 😉 Happy holidays and New Years!
INCREDIBLE.... As a little YoutTube channel jeepNdirt that I started for fun, I was inspired by this type of video. As I came across your channel (and will now be subscribed and watching the series) and I can't say enough how talented you are. Great story telling, great video footage, great editing, and WOW just inspiring. I'm not planning on being a big TH-camr (unless I get really lucky, lol) but as I plan and complete future trips, if I at least do one video of a trip to Alaska, I know that much of the inspiration came from just this one video (and I haven't even started the series). Just awesome. Great job. God Bless you and your Mom.
First time watching your channel was this series, as I was looking at new ways to enjoy Alaska. I've lived here all of my life and I forty years I've long gotten into a kind of complacent about it all. A mountains a mountain, trees a tree and all that. After a close call medical event a couple of years ago I'd realized I needed to shake things up and enjoy Alaska again, get back out there. I was thinking over turning to Overlanding for that, and found your channel via it. Great content, wonderful trip. I did feel bad for you two, you came during a year with outside of normal rainfall for the month. Also I didn't expect to see Craig! Twenty years ago we were big into the suby wrx scene and had some fun times. I didn't know he'd set up this business, so I'm going to have to bug him about it now haha. Cheers and I hope you two come back some day. Merry Christmas from Alaska!
I can understand that and see how a little shake up from time to time can help keep the adventurous spirit going. For our first visit to Alaska, we were certainly blown away with its beauty. Rain or shine each day served and provide a whole new appreciation for the landscape we were in. That is one of the beautiful things traveling or that overlanding can bring. The adventure is completely in your hands with the rig and tools you have at that time. There were moments I'd would have loved to have a camper to hide out from the weather but we made due and enjoyed each day with the setup we had. Have fun out there and appreciate the little things while on trips. Sometimes even reading a book near a soft flowing river can bring that sense of fulfillment vs. witnessing a towering snow-capped mountain peak (although I do love those too) 😉 Definitely give Craig a shout as well! Great guy and awesome business, wouldn't have done our first visit any other way! Hope you have a wonderful New Years and safe travels for 2023!
Absolutely loved the Alaska series and its definitely on my bucket list. I'll be as far as Oregon next year and we are planning a 6 week trip to Washington State in 2024.

That is a majestic site to see. I'm happy she cleaned up the fire pit, some people should not be out in nature if they aren't going to respect it.
