Hello seeing your video brought me to tears as I myself at the age of 36 had a ruptured aneurysm almost three years ago and your story is so similar to what I went through. I was in the hospital in ICU for two weeks and by God's grace survived it with awesome doctors, awesome family, supportive husband, beautiful children and many prayers. Thankfully I did not have to have my skull cut open. So far I have only had to have coils put in and occasionally have angiograms done as needed but still waiting for a permanent surgery in the future which I am terrified to have. But seeing your story gives me hope.. thank you for sharing your beautiful story ❤
I had a brain aneurysm three months ago. Thanks to excellent healthcare, my family and the amazing staff at the hospital, I recovered. It was a long road, but I got better.
God bless your soul. Very lucky you remembered when it happened. I’m 37 and had a brain aneurysm a year ago didn’t remember 1 thing. My wife saved my life she drove me to the hospital when I had a seizure in the car.if she had waited any longer for ambulance I would’ve been dead. So grateful for her.my life changed never been the same. Much love from Australia ❤
I had mine 9th November 2003. I passed out and woke up with the worst headache you could imagine intolerance to any light and couldn't move my legs. Sounds silly but i dragged myself to bed not knowing what had happened being on my own. The headache was so bad i knew it was bad. I tried to ring my family but had no reply so called 999. My brother answered on my last call so thankfully was there so someone could take care of my children who were sleeping in bed. The hospital were quite rude and said was nothing wrong with me after giving me an injection to stop me vomiting. I don't remember the next day until i was taken to a different hospital where took them miniates to diagnose. Anyway i had surgery to put a clip on the aneurism. Still here thanks to the smaller local hospital doctor for just looking in my eyes. Strangest thing i lost how to wright the number 5. So glad you were here to make this video having being there myself x
I am 22 years old and was experiencing the best semester of college I’ve had thus far. I’d just returned from spending a year in Italy, my mental and physical heath were the best they’ve been in four years, and my grades were the highest the’d been in all my time at college- and then it ruptured. Three and a half weeks. That’s how long i was in the hospital. I, like you, am lucky. Recovery has been very difficult but not due to medical complications. My life has seemed to be stuck between pause and play. I want to move forward with my life but recovery almost feels like it’s stopping me. Thank you for this video I needed to hear someone else’s story who’s around my age. Thank you.
You're a sweetheart. My craniotomy was in 2016 and my scar is exactly the same as yours! It was an unruptured aneurysm found on a random MRI. I just found out that the aneurysm has grown back and is at a vessel juncture. They have to do a vessel bypass and resection...longer and riskier surgery. It's going to happen sometime this summer. It's always so wonderful and comforting to hear another person's story, especially when they mention so many similarities..."mourning the person you used to be" "Chronic fatigue" and trying to help others understand what your new normal is like. I'm trying to figure out a way to document this journey for myself. I am sick of being inside my own head all the time. I'm so glad I found your video and that you're here with us and doing well. You can stay strong and be tired at the same time. Sending you good wishes!
Thank you for sharing your story. The more we tell our stories, the more lives we can possibly save. Be strong, stay healthy and keep on LIVING! Love & peace.
Glad you are doing ok. I had a ruptured brain aneurysm last year. I also suffer from migraines and my neurologist had always told me about being able to distinguish between a typical migraine and the worst headache of my life. One night before bed, I blew my nose and felt something strike the top of my head and travel down my spine. It took my breath away and I couldn’t move for a minute. I wasn’t sure what had happened but I knew it wasn’t good. For a minute I thought of just lying down and resting. So glad I called 911 instead.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with a ruptured aneurysm. I too have had a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2004 in the pica part of my brain at age 42. I can definitely relate to a lot of your symptoms. I just recently got diagnosed with a 3mm aneurysm in the temple on right side of my brain. Mine has been heritable my Grandma died in 1992 of one and my sister had three of them repaired. May God continue to Bless you. Denise
What a crazy experience. The positivity you've maintained is remarkable. I won one of your contests, you signed a photo for me. You encouraged me to cosplay. I hope this year is full of great adventures, thank you for sharing your story with us.
Thankful for my wife every day her aneurysm is inoperable and few get what really goes on. We know Jesus has kept her as well as anyone else who has had surgery.
Hi, Thankyou for sharing your story. My mum passed away suddenly from a subarrachnoid haemorrhage. I suffer headache and migraine and been scared to get checked out. After watching your video it gave me the push I needed to book the doctors appointment. Thankyou. Fingers crossed everything will be ok.
I had a ruptured brain aneurysm last year. I also suffer from migraines. Just want to get the word out that I didn’t have much of a headache when the aneurysm ruptured. But I did have a severely stiff neck and when I blew my nose, I felt something stroke the top of my head.
I have to say, two dragoncons ago, I was lucky enough to run into you, I’ve been watching you for years and I was really excited to see you, but now I feel so embarrassed, I think I said something like “I’m so happy your brain- thing- turned out ok” and watching this I can’t help but feel like that was the last thing you wanted to think about at a con, so I apologize! I am truly happy you’re still here, and I feel so blessed that I got to meet you for just a minute!
Thanks for sharing the story of what you went through K. We waited on pins and needles to hear from your mom. So thankful for answered prayers and that you are still with us! See you again next time we are in from Oz. Keep the faith! xxoo
I know what you are going through. June 11th, 2020 will be my three year ann. of my ruptured brain aneurysm. I had to stop working after thirty one years as a kindergarten teacher. Although I did work about a year and a half after my aneurysm. I had five surgies done. As you can see my spelling is off. I have alot of problem with short term mermory and more. But people I saw was so much worst than I was. God bless you,
also, if they have you on any medications that very well could be the cause of some of the oddities you experience now. it happened with my grandfather after they put him on medication for his heart.
God bless you! I was following you, amongst your talented cosplay adventures. I am so glad you are still with us! Thanks for sharing your amazing miraculous story!
Am So happy for You! So Blessed and wonderful Young Lady. May Our LORD continues Blessing your to full recovery. Thank You for sharing your Miraculous Testimony! ❤
Thank you for telling your story. My daughter just had neurosurgery for burst aneurysm. She is still in hospital, but is out of ICU. All the best for your on-going improvement and diminished number of strange (to others) behaviours. It's a long and winding road
Thank you for sharing your story! I'm sorry to hear what you have been through! You are making a difference by bringing awareness to ruptured brain aneurysms! Thank you! I suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm Oct. 2017. As you experienced, I was feeling great then it hit me completely out of the blue! I had migraines but this was completely different!! It felt like someone hit me in the back of the head with a baseball bat or that I had been shot back there! Thanks to PSAs I knew exactly what it was! Acting quickly is an understatement! I did, & I almost didn't make it! Thanks again for getting the message out! ❤& God bless!
I know I’m late to the game here but, outstanding vid - great info! Thankful you are doing well after such a traumatic life-changing event. Props to your family. Continue.
I came across your channel because I was curious about solid black contacts and being able to tell where people were looking if they had those in, however, now I feel like reaching out to you. I hope you are well these days. I am part of a ministry called WorshipMob and your testimony really helps me see that you had a close encounter with God. Praying you feel encouraged in love to reach back or give an update video once again. Thankful for you!
I had a stroke and brain rapture. I've never had surgery so much as I went through it. It’s insane to explain. To some, it all took 5 years, and during the whole time period, I went through every symptom you can imagine, including physical body issues. Incredibly, as the years went by, my brain and body actually started recovering on their own. The big question many people may ask is: How did you survive it on your own? I will say it requires a lot of mind and body fighting to stay alive, and at the same time, you have to be very patient.
Hi my name is Nadine I had a ruptured brain aneurysm back in September 2023.I'm so happy to be here today my chances of surviving was very poor but I made it.But mine was clipped I recently had a angiogram now I have a 3mm aneurysm growing out of the clipped aneurysm that had ruptured so they have to reopen me back up fix this problem. Then I also have a 4mm one in the back of my brain so i need surgery for that one.I'm tired everyday plus i have bad anxiety that I never had .I have slow thinking to I forget what I'm going to say in seconds then it comes back.I don't sleep very well aswell. But I'm so happy to be here talking to u.Godbless to you hun that your a survival aswell.I hope the best for you may god be with you and keep you healthy.
I'm 6 weeks into recovery from a ruptured aneurysm, I has dual aneurysms, in an inoperable location. 1 ruptured the other they managed to embolize a nearby artery which cut off the blood supply... I felt lucky after I'd realised what had happened but just had angiogram 2 days ago and the news has been devastating.. they need to operate and the operation is so difficult due the fistula location that they need to consult other neuro surgeon's to figure out a plan to tackle this.. There are no words to describe what I'm young thru and how much I fear for my children, I can only hope that I will be as fortunate as I've been so far..Thankyou for sharing your story, it has given me hope..
My sister had a ruptured aneurysm 10 days ago and still in the hospital recovering from clipping of aneurysm procedure. I've been browsing youtube about aneurysm for better understanding of it and i happen to watch your video..well, i say i learn a lot of what to expect in my sister's future. You exude so much positivity and very exhilirating to know that life's go on despite of it.
How is your sister doing? I had a ruptured brain aneurysm last year. I was lucky to recover with no deficits. I spent 10 days in ICU, which is standard due to risk of vasospasms, and another 10 days in the neuro ward. I then spent a week in a rehab hospital just to regain my strength. Praying for your sisters full recovery.
My husband had a ruptured aneurysm 10 days ago. When it happened, he was out of it for about 2 minutes and then came back. He was alert and talking and even walking. After I called 911, he was rushed to the ER where they ran scans and found the bleeding in his head. He was sedated, intubated, and the doctors had to go through his groin to coil the aneurysm. While it stopped the bleeding, he still hasn't "woken up." Today, one of his many doctors told me that in the next few days the breathing tube will need to be taken out because it can only stay there for so long before it becomes a risk of causing infections. Along with that, a tracheostomy would need to be performed in-lieu of being intubated. Additionally, the feeding tube, currently through his nose, will then be relocated to the side of his abdomen. This means he will be taken out of the ICU and moved into a lower level of care. Not sure yet how long he will remain there because after an unknown amount of time, he'll then be moved to a skilled nursing facility. HE NEEDS TO WAKE UP so that he can prove to the doctors that he is alive...his brain is just taking longer to heal and repair itself. Every other vital is normal. He just doesn't wake up. I'm losing hope.
Hi! I’m Judith, I had Aneurysm 2019 of Nov. they do also coiling on my 🧠 Brain, it’s aching all the time that is happening to you? it’s already 2021.I had to take pain killers to ease the pain. I’m blessed to have survive with this. Your testimony is an encouragement to me Godblessyou 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I had 2 brain aneurysms/SAH/ heaemmorrges/ brain strokes at the age of 41/2. and vasospasms, put coils in my brain in 1969 in Los Angeles. I have side effects from almost all medications except 2. And I am allergic to every aspirin. I go to my neurologists still, go get checked at the hospital and still take my medications. Good luck. David
I was just told by a doctor today that if you have a family member that has had a brain aneurysm you were 50% likely to have one as well. My sister-in-law is in the hospital as I write this her grandmother died from a brain aneurysm. In your experience and what your doctors have told you do you think she can come out of this? So glad that you overcame this so scary
I am! :) I have just been taking more time for myself and not keeping as much of an online presence since the whole ordeal! But worry not - I live on! Thanks for checking on me.

Great video . My rupture was life changing, people don't understand
Good luck. David
Wow. Harrowing.
God still has a plan for you, girl!
Given a similar situation, I would most likely "walk it off" in accordance with my gym coach. 🧠

My dad had a rupture, do you know if the aneurysm itself is genetic or is it just that weaker vessels are genetic ? Thanks so much!
Blessings

" God had to have some kind of work for me in my future"
I commented on the other version of this which seems the same just has a different thumbnail of you alone with your sleeping mask on your forehead.
God is imaginary, you were lucky.
