- Ji So-yun’s late long-range stunner took Korea Republic into the semi-finals of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022™ with a 1-0 win over 2018 runners-up Australia at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex on Sunday.

I watched this match as a neutral and I think Korea Republic deserved a win over Australia.
Korea missed a good PK chance in the first half, and two or three good chances were blocked by the Australian goalkeeper's save. Of course, Australia also missed a good shot opportunity. I think the Korean team deserves the win.. Congratulations South Korea

@@dickywisanggeni8468 of course Kumagaï Saki (she won so many titles with National team, and Lyon where she played 7 years) and Sam Kerr are great players, Hazegawa Yui too. But for me, Ji So-Yun is the best one, she prooves when she plays with Chelsea. Unfortunately, she didn't win so many titles coz' Korean national team is not good enough. Maybe this Asian cup... but for me Japan is still the best contender. Korean national team needs another So-Yun miracle. "Yes, she can".
@@cecildemille190 it's hard because So-Yeon was originally not the biggest striker. In Chelsea even in midfield 3 she played behind either 2 of Erin, Melanie, or Guro Reiten. She is the Kante. Just the fact that she had to strike a long shot means the team were pretty desperate.
@@aidanjanemcintosh6919 She's not the best striker with Chelsea, that's true, Kerr is but she gives long, and short as well, passes ; she is very good to organize. For an Asian player, she is athletic enough, much more than Hazegawa Yui (a player I like a lot) for example. She is also really good to score kicking free kicks. This mix makes me think she is the best Asian player. Well, that's my opinion, no more. Let me insist about one point : when you strike a long shot, it's not coz' your team is desperate but you have this weapon in your foot. Not so many have.

I've watched all of this match, but both Korea and Australia missed some shot opportunities. Ji So-yun is a good player. Korea recently drew a draw with the defending champion Japan

As the host country, the Australian women soccer will show their strong performances at the Fifa Women's World Cup in 2023 despite of this loss.
I think they can do better preparation after this defeat and can manage better result in world cup like last olympic game they finished 4th place
