My grandmother's family owed Wheelers Island the first island shown at the 20 sec mark, it had been in her family for many generations she sold it a few years back. At the time the home had no electricity and we had to pump our own water and that's why I loved it, beautiful and rustic. It was so fun to be there in the summer. . I'm so sad she sold it. The new owners put electricity in and running water I believe.

I love the Thimble Islands - my mom’s sister and her family live in Branford and we have gotten free rides on the Thimble islands ferry to locations like The Outer Islands and yes ...... my uncle Bill Smith is The Thimble Islands Ferry Captain for the Adrian B and my cousins Sam and Jack run the trash boat !

Woman's worth over 250 million dollars and has not tastes what so ever. But the landscaping does make up for it.
As for the price I have no idea what it is now I saw 78 million for 8 homes then that became 50 million. I read 35 million for roger's island then 25 million and it still won't budge.
What Roger's island has going for it is it's size I can't stand 1 acre or smaller islands its like whats the point. The height is good its unlikely to be submerged in a hurricane. Some storms down south have had 20 foot plus storm surges if your on a rock 8 feet above sea level that's a scary thought.
It's what it doesn't have that is disappointing and surprising. There is no yacht house and there is no helicopter pad. Considering the price tag of this place id rather have those amenities then pink furniture.
