I have the same endurance SL and have problems with my headset. What was the fix? I have tried playing with my expander wedge in the top tube and tightening down the integrated bars like I would any bike, and it seems to always come a little loose over time. I want to be careful about over-tightening!
Ive had Ribble out to mine and am having the same problems again. It comes loose after only a few rides and Im now at the point where I have no confidence in the bike. On my return to the UK I will be contacting Ribble to ask for a replacement or my money back.
@@MrWhatYT I did get there in the end, I needed to tighten the expander wedge then the top cap. Hasn’t worked loose yet but then again only done 100 or so miles and it’s in hibernation until the spring
I've tried taking out the stem spacers so my integrated bars have more of the fork tube surface area to clamp on. That seems to be a good fix. The tradeoff is a slammed stem and less comfortable riding position. Tested wirh a 140 mile ride in this position and it was ok. But I am 29 years old and still have a young man's back, not everybody might be up to try this fix.
@@jordanlanglois2004 I don’t think I could manage low bars anymore. I’ve got a bad back. Ended up with my Specialized causing me problems. Besides, I shouldn’t have to slam my bars just to get the headset to stay tight. Im going to give them another chance to sort it or I want my money back.
Well, lucky I was just round the corner. Although the guy did tell me they do go all over the UK Not sure what would happen if you have one shipped abroad. However, I’ve been having problems with mine again. Keeps coming loose again. I’ll be out of the country for a few weeks but on my return I’m going to get in touch with Ribble and ask they take it away to rebuild, replace it or give me my money back.
Again good job they are around the corner. They have been out again today and the headset (carbon) is cracked and it has to go away, need a new frame. Imagine if I was abroad.

What made you choose the SL over a slightly less well-specced SLR?
The wheels and group set.
I can see that the model has some problems which seems to be common. Is it fixed in current version?
Yes they have done some modifications
@@MrWhatYT I understand, that's good. It is a pity that after Brexit the costs of purchase and delivery to the EU have increased dramatically.
Ditto Jordan's question. I have the same issue with the headset. Is the there a fix I can do myself or should I be contacting Ribble?
Same for me again, it keeps coming loose. I am now considering sending it back.

I am also in the US, so having to deal with sending back to Ribble is not as straight forward unfortunately.

In any other accent, Ribble coming out to sort the headset would sound like a big effort, but let's be honest, they popped round the corner 😄
