- Continuing the tradition of learning under the late Manong Ted Buot. Guro Conrad Maningas teaches the traditional way of how he learned the Balintawak system. There was no formal curriculum, but trained in various drills and sequences. Basic blocks, counters, traps and disarms are taught as the student progresses.

Thank you for sharing the training style Manong Ted showed you. It is a glimpse of the past.
It's fortunate that we are able to document these, even though it's just a small portion, at least people can see it in motion as opposed to the old books from the 80's where everything was in pictures.
This is one of the best Balintawak Videos I ve seen. Very simple, very basic and very effective. ❤
It was a different approach when observing the training methods. Usually working from the first two angles and progressing from there.
This guy is not to be messed with😉
As the saying goes, "not the size of the dog in a fight, but the size of the fight in the dog."

Nice, thanks for sharing!
Not a problem, another one documented for the history books or archived for the future generation. But it's only a glimpse of what the art has to offer.
Good content!
Thanks Terry, hope all is well with you. Still training?
Thanks for the video!!!
Not a problem bro.
