Bacon is one of the first bad asses I heard about training Modern Arnis in the 90s. His development of single stick fighting and the use of the free hand is legendary. He changed everything.
It's fortunate that we are able to document these, even though it's just a small portion, at least people can see it in motion as opposed to the old books from the 80's where everything was in pictures.
Not a problem, another one documented for the history books or archived for the future generation. But it's only a glimpse of what the art has to offer.

According to the stories and the documentary, "Eskrimadors," Bacon was the top fighter in Doce Pares before he parted ways with them.
Thank you for sharing the training style Manong Ted showed you. It is a glimpse of the past.

This is one of the best Balintawak Videos I ve seen. Very simple, very basic and very effective. ❤
It was a different approach when observing the training methods. Usually working from the first two angles and progressing from there.
This guy is not to be messed with😉
As the saying goes, "not the size of the dog in a fight, but the size of the fight in the dog."
@@FMAPulse 🙂👍
