In Canada, the Biscayne was also called a Pontiac Stratochief, with a bored out 261 c.i.d, and Chevy motors, it wasn't a U.S only Catalina, with Pontiac's Wide Track Suspension.
Nicely restored Biscayne.
The Chevy Biscayne in Canada, was also called a Pontiac Stratochief, not a wide tracking Catalina.
1:23, to 1:49, a close up look at the “Elephant Trunk Brace”. Yesterday, (Sept. 8th, 2024), I feel the back of the brace with my finger, where it’s great to feel the back!.
1:04, I see the “curve” of the “Elephant Trunk Brace” Steering Wheel, then it go straight (or slightly curve) as it get wider at the brace, nice back if you could see it. On May 12, 2006, I was in a 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne, in Morton, Washington, and I put my finger feeling the back of the “tie-shape” brace. From 1959 to 1963, my mother had a 1959 Chevy Bel-Air, and remembering feeling the CURVE with my finger back around 1960 or 1961.
Had one just like that , put a 327 and 4 speed in it .
TITZ!!! My First car.
1958 Biscayne was $1800 out the door.
Is this a 348 c.i.d, it looks high performance.
All Chevys cars in 1959, had the same tailights, it was done again in 1972.
Hope it has a 348 engine
