Love your videos and look forward to each new one. Grand Cayman is one of my favorite islands it’s so sad to see the beach eroded like that. We used to stay at the Westin, not sure if it’s still there. It was so cool to swim off the beach there and snorkel a few feet away. They have such beautiful beaches. Thanks for sharing your vacation with us!
Wish you could have experienced more “Beach” in Grand Cayman. I was there per-hurricane and it was beautiful although glad you got to snorkel!! Overall great cruise and I so enjoyed watching this ! Thanks Josh and Rachael !
@@JoshRachael us too..we want to do like a private charter for like a party of 6 on our 34 boat we currently own...if only we can make it a reality. Take folks to private snorkeling and cook for them..our boat has a full kitchen, and bathroom...I just need to win a big one in Vegas to make it happen 👍👍👍
We always book our own balcony room on deck 6 back of the ship. It is less bumpy and closer to the entertainment, casinos, etc. T he elevator is a short walk, stairs are near our room and Promenade decks are close. Have Fun! Room #668 depending on the ship.
That’s awesome when you can find a consistent room location. When we can choose in the future we will definitely be more mindful of our deck location for sure. 6 -8 seems about perfect for us
Cruise looked awesome...The fooooood!!!! Thanks for sharing..I tried sending you a video on Instagram but not sure if I did it right. It snowed here in Vegas today! On the strip!!
I am taking my first cruise. I'm going out of New Orleans and the Cayman Islands is one of my ports. Thanks for sharing your great video. I don't plan on doing any excusrions in the Cayman Islands. I want to explore the town on my own. I have two questions. I imagine when you leave the ship it is super busy in the beginning with everyone wanting to go to the island. Is it better to wait 15 or 30 mins and catch another boat to the port as the crowds dwindle? My other question was about your snorkleing session. Did they have lockers for you to put your stuff in when you went snorkeling?
Thanks so much! I would argue that you want to try to beat the excursion people off so I would aim to be off first. Otherwise you will get mixed in with the excursion people and probably want to wait about an hour or two to get off the boat since it is a tender port. For the snorkeling spot there are no lockers, just a concrete slap in front of a store. Unfortunately you just have to put your stuff there and have faith nothing will happen with it.
Very helpful video! Thanks for showing not only the "beach" day excursion, but also that free snorkeling spot. Our cruise in November has Grand Cayman on the itinerary, so it's nice to know where to snorkel without having to go to 7 Mile Beach (although we might go there as well). I hope to see The Effectors on our Odyssey cruise in early March, but I've seen no way to reserve seats before the cruise. Did you reserve seats when you first boarded? Appreciate the advice!
Thank you Susan! Yea we were so happy to find some good snorkeling and for it to be free is great. I can understand wanting some beach day action though too, since you can usually only snorkel so much. We booked all of our dinners and shows after we boarded the ship on day one! Have fun!
We generally bring our own snorkel gear and life jackets. We think flippers would take up too much bag space but the fe jackets are inflatable so easy to pack!
Yep - we bring our own snorkel gear and life jackets, that we found on Amazon! OMORC Adult Snorkel Set, Anti... www.amazon.com/dp/B085CD1NWY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Love that intro song/music. Who chooses the music? Funny me and my wife always talk about how we aren't interested in cruises... but watching you're videos, I'm rethinking that. Keep it coming!
Josh is usually the one editing and choosing songs, but we both enjoy working on them together! Our hope with cruise vlogs is to give our perspective and show what fun they can be! More cruise vlogs coming your way for sure this year - we currently have 5 scheduled through end of Jan 2024!
Hello loyal viewer here James enjoyed video was wondering have guys ever taken a all inclusive at a resort I been to Mexico and the Dominican Republic and it was great and they have great day trip you can take I mean the food and drinks on the resort are outstanding ⛵ thank for video 👍
Rachael has and enjoyed them in Jamaica, I (Josh) have only once in Mexico and didn't do any extra excursions, which is what I think makes me not satisfied with them. I always feel like I need more stuff to do, must be some ADHD or something. Maybe one of these days, but getting great deals on cruises makes it hard to switch to full pay resorts. Thanks so much James
Very disappointed in Coral Beach, not sure that I'm willing to pay for this. I want a beach down to the water. Thank you for sharing your experience. We're going in February on Celebrity & excursion includes everything, but not beach.
Even though the food looked good, this is really not Italian food. I call it make believe Italian food and this is coming from someone who is 100% Italian. For example, we don’t eat Alfredo sauce in Italy. Sorry but I have to be honest.
lucky for us we will be Italy a couple times later this year to try out the real thing! Thanks for watching, and you should try Alfredo Sauce it is really good :)
I guess it depends on how much there is to do on the Cruise ship you are on. Most of the time I would rather get off the ship, especially if I have never been to the country or city, unless on a brand new ship and would feel like I am missing out on the ship by getting off. This "beach" excursion didn't really work out for us but still glad we got off the ship
We hope you enjoyed our Odyssey of the Sea series! Please share with us your favorite parts :)
Playing binge watch catch up. Big fan of Royal Caribbean and you two.
Thanks so much! We appreciate the support! More cruise vlogs to come!
Just finished watching this series and thoroughly enjoyed it! You've got a new subscriber!
Awesome thanks so much and welcome David
I go this October. I can't wait. Thanks for this great video.
Hope you enjoy it! Thanks so much
AWWW LOOKS LIKE YOU BOTH ARE LIVING YOUR BEST LIFE. WOW THIS PLACE IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. THANKS FOR SHARING, KEEP UP THE INCREDIBLE JOB 😁👏🏽👏🏽😍
Yes we are, thank you so much!

Thanks for sharing & watching!
This ended up being a great day! Super excited for the next cruise in 10 days!!
Yes it was!
I saw the effectors on the wonder of the seas. Your right the drones were very good
So cool how they use them in their shows!
Wish you could have experienced more “Beach” in Grand Cayman. I was there per-hurricane and it was beautiful although glad you got to snorkel!!
Overall great cruise and I so enjoyed watching this !
Thanks Josh and Rachael !
Thank you so much ☺☺☺
We love Grand Cayman 👍👍
We always talk about retiring in the Caribbean someday. If we can afford to it seems like a perfect retirement spot!

Have you and Rachel been there? It's lovely

Thank you for sharing! We are planning to visit Grand Cayman in December, would love to know where you purchased the life vest?
We just searched on Amazon for inflatable life vest. We have had luck with a few different ones over the years

Thanks so much Johnny - Stay warm out there its a warm -10 over here brrrr
I really want some of those chocolate raviolis!
Great video as always!!! Love watching cruise videos when it’s snowing and ass cold outside. In DEN for work👎🏻.
Tell me about it. It’s a balmy 0 degrees and snowing for us too

The Caribbean sand is the best. When you can actually find it......
Haha there was sand just not next to the water haha
You guys are enjoying the hot weather we are having a ice storm have fun on me
Don’t worry we are back home. Currently -5 and snowing but we do head out on our next cruise in 9 days 😂 and just got back from Vegas yesterday
@@JoshRachael we are heading out in may to Vegas can’t wait

So fun! Did you say for your snorkelling you did or did not take flippers? I think I heard you take a vest and snorkel only. Food all looked good!

You guys have really embraced cruising quickly. We are on a cruise pause for awhile. Hoping to get back to it next year when finances recover.
We have gone head first into cruising for sure. Love them, actually heading out Friday to Barbados for another cruise!

What was the name Of this vacation to book?
If I’m recalling correctly, it was called Coral Beach Break and we booked through Royal Caribbean shore excursions!
Thanks for watching!
where's you floatie and rum drink?
😂🍹
i know i went there around 30 years ago and did not go to a beach but i believe i went to Hell (town) lol i hope i have the right island
I think you are right about that. Was it worth going to Hell?
