Weight detection in ecos motorized drawers and depots detects both single and multiple objects with an accuracy of up to 1g. For medical samples, medications or the like, this function can be used to ensure reliable transfer between multiple employees.
To log in to the system, an individual QR code on the sample is used as an authentication medium. Employees can then select the urgency of the samples on the touch display and deposit them in the depot. The locker system recognizes each individual object movement and documents it in the system history for tracking purposes. For even more efficient processes, an automatic pickup notification can be sent to employees or service providers directly upon receipt of the samples.
