I never thought about using the clamshells greens come in for the bulk section, that’s so smart! My smartest reuse (that even my dad, who does not care about ~susty~ things, was impressed with) was digging my tofu trays out of the recycle to use as lil drawer organizers for all of our Taco Bell hot sauce packets lol

GENIUS way to reuse + repurpose! plus now your drawers are organized 😍 win-win-win!

i agree!! BUT what about '' PLANNED OBSOLESCEANCE" i really hate that, especially paired up with laws not allowing you to repair the products you own!!

We use quart and pint soup tubs that my wife brought home from work when she worked at a diner. They're ridiculously sturdy, and both sizes fit the same lids, so there's no digging around. and they were free, yay!

We reuse plastic togo containers that we get from takeout for our leftovers at home. Been using the same couple plastic containers for a year or so now

What can you do with drink carriers? They look as though a lot goes into them. When I order four large chocolate Frosties for my mom the only way to get them to her without spilling is to use the drink carrier.

I think I just thought of the answer to my own question. Save it in the car for the next trip! Duh!

@@JourneyOfFaith72 that's a really good idea! those drink carriers last WAY longer than just a single trip home!

but arent there studies regarding reusing single use plastics? the dangers of the micro/nano plastic leaching into your food/drink.....it gets worse as the plastic ages.....

How do u get rid of the smell of the food that was previously in the jar. Like spaghetti sauce … I’ll wash it but it still smells 😅

a few things that have worked for me is to either leave the jar in the sunshine for several hours, or pour white vinegar into it and let that soak overnight, or stick it in the freezer! if all else fails, i'll use the jar for something that i don't mind smelling like spaghetti lol!

This is a good video with some great ideas. Only I believe it would be much better without the eff you. I believe you are smart enough to emphasize without it.

I have problem with the message here that smart people don't cuss. They absolutely do. Your personal choice in verbiage is just that, personal. It does not indicate intelligence or a lack thereof. Some statistics actually indicate that more intelligent people swear more, but that's beside the point.
