edit: i found this reply in 19th January 2021, this really brings me back to the old 2019 times when there was no pandemic or anything, i was like a 90 star in bedwars and was still learning to play, i actually used to enjoy the game a lot (now im 570+ stars and pretty burnt out on the game)

Techno, ITMG and Raptide are all pretty good options. If all four of them are all in one team, oh boy the entire game will just turn into a matter of being able defend your bed for long enough to make the game last at least 5 minutes long.

@@friendlyneighborsaucegiver9566 figured it out. I realized my client is on 1.12 and damage is weird now due to the 1.9 pvp update and it actually only does 5.75 damage instead of 7. So it's just barely less than a iron sword
@@Pulmentii oh that makes more sense thanks for the info I don't play much Bedwars and when I do I get carried most of the time (in rushing of course since most Bedwars players makes it looks easy but it isn't)

about 7:18 It depends on skill. I can defend a base real well with a bow. I can even prevent other teams from leaving their own base (sometimes with cross map kills).
I have strats, including ways of detecting invis players. If you drop an item on your bridge, you can see if an item is picked up, but make sure the bridge is build right, and watch carefully for jump invis players. Also, sometimes defending from the diamond gen with a bow is easier. Defending from the bridge, is better than from near the bed. When I defend the base, I leave the island and stop players before they get to the island.
Basically, most bedwars players just don't know the right defiance strategy yet.

this is meant to be a joke
new challenge: you can use basic blocks for defense, but you can’t use any diamonds to buy upgrades, or use emeralds to buy any equipment like ender pearls, tnt, fireballs, golems, pots, bows etc.

I read them from time to time anyway :) Thanks for today's video. Enjoying the series.
