We've seen Tewtiy and Sabre play chess before in btd 6. But chess is complicated with so many different towers and different movesets. Today, they are going to try out some checkers, thinking its easier. How does checkers compare against chess? We will find out!

Capturing is mandatory in Checkers. Which is why Sabre technically already lost/got disqualified on just his 5th move.

If you look closely he is in round 21 and abilities don’t refresh in between rounds so that wouldn’t work
Tip: kings can move a maximum of 6 squares diagonally in any direction
Edit: you can also kill pieces backwards

I find it incredible how no one here seems to know the most important rule of checkers, capture is mandatory, the whole game is played around that, where you set traps for your opponents that they cant escape

Here's a tip: when you can eat your enemy checkers and after you eat it there's your enemy checkers at your place and it's beside you,you can eat it and your checker will go back

They can't??? They only move one square diagonally (unless capturing), but they can move back 1 square diagonally as well

there's 2 different variant of checkers.
the first one is where your normal pieces can only capture forwards and kings can also capture as well as move backwards 1 space.
the second one is where your normal pieces move forwards, but can capture both forwards and backwards and kings have unlimited movement in one direction.
@@ZaneCold I checked it up and it did say that they could, but there are different variations of checkers. The one I (and probably them) learned was that they could only move 1 space. I guess in yours, they could move an unlimited amount of spaces
do they know that the kings dont only go backwards...
only thing i disliked about this is that they didn't capture every time they could. one of the main rules of checkers in both variants is that capturing is forced when possible.

Just to let Tewbre know there is a move called wind in believe and it goes like if the oponent makes a move but there was a piece avalabe for them to take you get rid of that piece

I once was playing checkers and me and my opponent couldn’t even move at all so we had to restart it’s probably happened to either most people or a few people
That would only happen if you dont know the rules, or if you dont really know how to play, captures are mandatory so you set up traps so your opponent is forced to make a "bad" move so the game goes on, reaching a point where neither can move just seems to me that you didnt play with mandatory captures, i dont even know why people dont know about the most important rule
