India has some great sculptors. Why don't donate a few million more and make a monolithic massive sculpture of Arjun receiving the Gita from Krishna or some epic scene from Krishna's life that captures the essence of his teachings. Collaborate with a great artist from India, great master sculptors and create a monolithic marble or granite statue that can be a major feature.
That will be considered great for ages to come.
Have a separate painting and sculpting gallery or walkways where this can be viewed.
Wouldn't that be amazing. ? I mean why keep the temple as it is in 2022? You can always keep on adding great stuff.
Make something that beats MichaelAngelo's statue of Chris in it's artistic aesthetic.

This temple doesn't look like hindu temple. The dome resembles mosques

The design of this temple is both Eastern and Western combined. The main three domes are modeled after the United States Capital building dome. The smaller domes are Indian/Bengali style Chatris. The building structure itself is designed to accommodate a temple/altar under the main dome with a universal chandelier of the Vedic universe hanging from the ceiling, a planetarium will be under another dome, and an altar for Nrsimha Bhagavan will be under the third dome. It is a combination of East Meets West. So it is not strictly a Hindu looking temple.

@@luciusmalfoy5446 Hare Krishna Lucius! The temple opening was scheduled for 2022, but due to the pandemic and India lockdowns we have rescheduled for 2023. The exact date is yet to be determined. The old temple will remain and be used for other purposes.

Thanks for the suggestion. We might consider it in addition to the actual temple. It's actually a great idea. But as far as replacing the temple in a physical location in India, that's not going to happen. This project has been years in the making (starting in 1973) and after passing through many obstacles and hurtles, it was finally started in earnest in 2009. Thanks again for the idea.

The Deities are inside the temple. Outside Deities are not common in Vedic India because they get exposed to unclean elements and this is considered an offense. There are two large murals of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda on the front of the temple. Take a look.
