    #cratedigginwithmanship #recordcollector #vinyl
I spent the day with one of the world biggest Record collectors, John Manship and he showed me around his warehouse and shared with me lots of his stories and life in the world of records, and it was absolutely fascinating. It was amazing to capture some of this on video to show what a geeky world this is and the dedication and devotion that goes into this field of work. John Manship thank you for inviting me to do this.

Welcome to my channel. I make lots of music based videos, mainly dancing to really nice music. My music choices are based on having a first love of Soul and Funk music, although I love a lot of different types of music and rhythms. I enjoy sharing this love and making videos to re-imagine those tunes. I try to mix up classics with tunes not so well known, and putting creative and artistic visuals to the tunes can be fun and interesting, and the process of making videos is part of my journey which has led me to do lots of different things. I have released my own CD through Universal Music, and I have worked with many different companies and style brands where Music or Dance has been part of the campaign. I have worked for the BBC on Strictly as a choreographer, and danced with Pharrell at The Brits. I have had Music Radio Shows and I DJ as part of @streetsofsoul and sometime we put on events too!!

You need to find an intern to create an online database that people can subscribe to with streaming capability and a monthly compilation that you, levanna and/or other collaborators create that is sent to subscribers emails for download. That would help finance the preservation of this treasure trove, finance the continuance of search and acquisitions for posterity.

Even now, at fifty-four, I love to go through 7" singles. I got a few early on, but started spending my pocket money on records in 1977. Still a golden era for singles. These U.S soul/r&b are fascinating, but say out of my price range nowadays. But the labels (and some of the company sleeves) are art to me, too, real period pieces. And variations too, like the Stax variant pressings for instance. Really enjoy these vids thanks!
