Tied up! Nice work. The little guy you spliced in was very cool to see! I have fished that very spot for musky once when I started last year and I love that creek. Happy New Year!
Ended the year in a tie with spinnerbait Johnny👍 New year...new tic sheets, hope you guys have a great musky catching year and I look forward to your vids chronicling it all!!!
First your videos are awesome! Love watching them. Secondly would like opinion. Have a medium/heavy fast 7’1” St Croix rod. Would like to match it up with a spinning reel capable of running spinners, swim baits, buzz baits, ect. You help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks man! I used to throw baits like that on a 3000-4000 size Shimano Stradic spinning reel. But I will say it’s definitely nicer to use a bait caster for that stuff once you get used to it
can I ask what your rod/leader setup is like for fishing the bass jerkbait? I have 80# stealth leaders where the swivel really gets to be a problem where the water gets shallow. I have some 50# Seaguar that I could tie but i'm greatly concerned that's too thin to risk with these fish.
I have a medium power spinning rod with 20 lb braid and a medium heavy baitcaster with 40 lb braid Both have a 80 lb fluorocarbon leader tied on…I’ve never had it fail. No swivel, line to line slim beauty knot
@@absoluteunitmedia thank you. for my larger lures the leader isn't a problem, however i'm looking to fish smaller jerkbaits as well and am wondering how to proceed. thank you for the advice - good luck out there!
That’s a real angler, love your channel
That 6th sense trace works good for bass in the summer and fall
Nice work brother! Catching a bg musky on my natal anniversary! No wonder I had a good feeling all day! Thanks man!

@@cjist1 what creek did you think at first? 🤣😭seems it’s possibly just right outside Pittsburgh somewhere on a feeder creek to one the rivers.
