Ryan you are really getting into your stride with explaining your craft in these videos. The DIY code reader looked a useful bit of kit. When I was crawling around under vehicles I used to use belt (Jack) , braces (stands) and a couple of short lengths of railway sleepers.

Nice work Ryan, thanks for this clear and in depth video.
You're not on your own in feeling claustrophobic lying down working under a car , i've done it myself working on the Kids cars over the years and my own of course.
Worse still is losing your spanned when you've rolled over on it but didn't realise , thats where a good wife (they have the uncanny knack of missing nothing ) has come in very handy and saved my sanity a few times 😂😂ps, nice little diagnostic tool , looks good value and well made ATB, Ian

Like the phrase 'otherwise that crank sensor is ours' Unfortunately I have a selection of parts the cars didn't need and I'm sure they will come in handy one day. It's all good experience I tell myself.

It certainly was a good watch I’ve spent hours under vehicles just inches above my chest most of the time I don’t even think about it but occasionally enters my mind and like you say gives me the creeps.

You being under vehicle had the hairs on my arms standing up even though I knew it was a vlog. A relative of my wife who was also a mechanic died in exactly those circumstanses a few years back. Very informative video though.

tragic bud and you can have all the safety measures in place but when its your time its your time 😞
I luckily very rarely go under vehicles and mostly use the drive on ramps with axle stands for extra measure

Ryan, your videos are never boring, teaching us methods of testing the faults and how to resolve them. What would be a good scope tool to start with, asit would be so much easier in diagnosing sensor faults. Where do you get your wiring diagrams from as they would be a life saver. Keep up the great work mate. 👍👍

Thanks wayne for watching, For scope use Micsig is a good option in my opinion.
You also have little one channel scopes like the uscope 👍
I use hella hgs for diagrams, Nightmare to get subscription from them but when you do its well worth it

I get the creeps as well lying underneath cars. Removing a rear brake caliper on a 3 series BMW and I had to lie underneath to get leverage. Despite being on a jack stand and having the 19 inch wheel lodged underneath it only takes a moment for the whole lot to take a tumble and you are toast.

Agreed sometimes you need even more safety measures and even then things can still go wrong

Hello Ryan, love watching your videos, I'm always on the look out for a reasonable priced OBD tool to reset a sondero service light, its the model that can't be reset manually. would the launch be able to do this?

    • @mrautoservices7354
      @mrautoservices7354 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

For a basic scanner it should do the job bud, You might even get a cheaper tool thats capable of this also 👍

Interesting stuff Ryan.. I've yet to find anyone in the trade that looks forward to lying on their back under a tonne plus of motor vehicle, especially if it's dark, raining and or freezing cold. 😫 Great demo of the LAUNCH CRP123E.. Seems reasonable for the money and it past the test by diagnosing the main issue on the Audi .. I also think you might have highlighted a general issue with the supply of parts as well.

Mostly can input commands like for example egr valve testing etc, The tool can communicate in both directions
