@@PastarocketS-sb7nk I believe the 500rpms they got this year will help them down the straightaways, and even toprak said in a interview the kawis were fast down the straights
@buddysumner4022 Dude, WSBK need to look at the title of their own series, WORLD SUPERBIKE. If other manufacturers are unhappy that a small Italian motorcycle company is kicking their giant Japanese asses, then go make a better bike and come back and try to knock them off the top of the podium. Don't whine to the officials and get the rules changed to benefit themselves. Rules should be 1000cc, same tires, same fuel. If your rider is too large, find a smaller one that can ride. Kawasaki are such whiners. Did Ducati say anything when Kawasaki and Rea were winning championship after championship? No. They went about building a bike that would win. Now that they are, Kawasaki is bitching. Bunch of pussies.

Seeing Toprak pass riders on the straight is soo nice.
Toprak started testing later than everyone else and needs more time to fully adapt to the bike. And yet the fact he made the podium is proof of what a great talent he is.

He's once again proving he's the best rider in world superbikes.
The closest BMW rider is not in the top 13. He's only ridden it 3-5 times. He missed 1 test. REA and AXEL were missing throughout the weekend. Even this shows how good Toprak is. A true living legend. We are very lucky to watch him. If BMW solves the rear tire problem, Toprak will become the champion. Also, everyone is very competitive. A good season awaits us.

WSBK was already outstanding and now it's next level good with Iannone mixing it up out there. The parity with the bikes seems to be spot on as well. Should be an incredibly good season.

As much as Im a huge admirer of Toprak, he was far from being the only one making excitement this week. Bulega, Ianonne, Lowes (both), Locatelli, Bautista, Rinaldi and many others took turns at the front and put on a show

Kawasaki ZX10RR being the only superbike with the lowest allowed rpm limit still manages to win this goes to show that the bike is perfectly well balanced.
If they give rpm like Ducati 16.100rpm i can't imagine the result 🤣😂

Wide open championship. Bulega, Bautista, Iannone, Locatelli, Lowes and Toprak could all be considered contenders. I wonder if Rea gets added to the list?
Can't help but notice that you excluded Gardner and Aegerter from the list
@@plebtile3347 Personally I don't think anyone but Locatelli can ride the Yamaha yet, but anything's possible. Aegerter, Gardner and even Petrucci. We should also keep in mind that this wasn't a normal weekend due to technical failures, mandatory tire changes and general calamity being the first race of the year. I would expect some more "normal" weekends going forward.
Definitely Rea rides with his head not his heart next round he will be up there. Toprak great racer but rides to much with his heart instead of his head and it could end in disaster hopefully not great for WSB

Off to a great start for the season. So many exciting riders and team combinations. I had a really good feeling about Iannone and it was nice to see him upfront along with a Kawasaki 👀 Some reliability issues for Iannone and Toprak, but he's still a beast on the BMW 🤙

F1 isn’t racing. It’s a tech test where they happen to all be on the same track at the same time.

@@9GSR yes, but that small part at the end was always enough for Bautista to catch up against the Yamaha. and that didn't seem to happen right now, I think you underestimate the power and speed of BMW :)

WSB is absolutely awesome at the moment, so much better racing than MotoGP. The bikes look like proper bikes too. Way too much aerodynamics in GP.

So happy to see Gardner keeping pace with the boys up front. He just needed some time to adjust and we'll see his winning genes kicking again
If there are no technical problems in the coming weeks, my favorite is Toprak.Despite starting the tests late, despite being his first race at BMW, and having problems in the second race, the rider scored 18 points in the first week and will be at the top when things go well.And despite everything, Bautista definitely among my favorites.
