It’s orange peel cause I sprayed it too dry and didn’t want it to run. It looked good when wet but dried peely but I’m not really concerned. It’s interior parts.
the dash in side of a care should be Matt finish to help with reflection driving on a sunny day. you can totally tell this was a paint job on a dash. Not the way to go for a dash.

Does an adhesion promoter work better than a primer? Or use a primer instead of an adhesion promoter?
It’s basically a clear primer more suitable for plastics.
Did you sand it and use the scotch pad?
I sanded the repair areas but the scotch pad is like a 600 to 1000 grit sandpaper too. So scuffing with that is good for paint.
