That would be actually a very interesting TED(x) talk to see - start like a serious talk, but with some (progressively more and more bad) misinformation, then stop it and talk about how people trust anybody with charisma, nice suit, fancy presentation, and a position of being an expert.
I can’t speak for Will or Stephen’s talks, but if you go to watch Michael’s talk linked in the description (highly recommend), you can see the reflection of his slides in a woman’s glasses at one point. That one actually happened.

At 7:20 you can kind of hear what appears to be a bit of audience noise, and the slight bit of noise at the end of his presentation is pretty similar to in a real audience where there are one or two people who cheer/clap a bit too early. also why would he fake it lmao? The sections where nobody laughs at their jokes reminds me of the time my friends got me to do their presentation for them but i hadn't read the book the presentation was about, so i proceeded to perform the most awkward freestyle stand up comedy session you can imagine and also misgendered the protagonist of the book for the entirety of the event.
Nobody laughs at their jokes either because yeah, they're pretty out there, or the speeches were recorded with no actual audience and then they took the rest from the other genuine speeches :P There's no shots of Will or Stephen talking on stage with the audience in front, and even those could be faked if they just appeared on stage for a few seconds in the middle of the genuine talks haha but it will be interesting if the real details come out a few months later
